Saw this ad 5 years ago. Fell flat on the ground as I knew nothing about Kia other than the usual flawed perception of them being bad cars. Made my mind to check it out at an Auto show. Saw it in person and HOLY I was SOOOOLD!! Went to the showroom the next day and pre-ordered it. Waited couple of months and when I got it I was over the moon. Loved it so much and the amount of attention it was getting from strangers was just crazy. Been driving for 5 years and still running like a charm with no issues what so ever! Still love the looks, the drive, stereo and many features.

Saw a couple of teaser ads for it during the LA Clippers game this past Wednesday. Man it looked nice! Im in the market for a new midsize ride. I know its a Kia but with the warranty they offer, the bang for the buck and with their steady upward progression in quality. This is number one on my list right now.
This track reminds me of the big beat stuff that was coming out in the mid 90's. Fatboy Slim, Overseer, Propellerheads, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, etc....
For those of you asking, the music was made by Kia for the commercial, apparently no specific artist or album or anything like that. I did my research and that was the farthest I got =( A shame, because the song is dirty awesome.
Someone has to know what this track is! I refuse to believe it was made just for this commercial, it's waaay too awesome. What song is this for the sake of Pete?!
The more I see it the more I think KIa Optima SX will be my next car. It's absolutely stunning. The German designer Kia hired has done a tremendous job with their entire product line. I've already test driven it & it drives very well too. The interior is also high quality & very nice. And it's a great value for money.
Found a 4:46 version of this track by searching for "Cherry Hill Kia Optima K5" - still don't know who produced it or how to find more. They've started using it in Canada for the 2013 Optima commercials now, and I still love it!
seriously i was never a fan of KIA or even Korean cars w/ that in mind. but now Koreans really redeemed themselves... i wouldnt even have known about this car if it wasnt for the NBA commerical, and now i think im in lovee =D
Being a family owner of an 09 Infiniti G37 and 07 BMW 328i sedan my major focus is always luxury & performance but I'm not kidding you if this version of the Kia Optima ever came to the US I would probably trade in my BMW in a heart beat and buy the loaded Optima with this amazing exterior, what a pitty that they don't offer this version in the states, I would actually be very tempted to trade. The US version is nice but not as convincing.
Looks great, will we get the exact car here in the US? LED headlights, panoramic sunroof etc. (You can lose the rims though, dont like em =p) Everything else looks fantastic. I want it in turbo.
Im not gonna lie but this is a bad ass looking car.. Although not many options for it yet but still under $20,000. I heard they are putting turbos to limited vehicles so maybe Ill wait for that.
Now that's the nicest sedan I've seen yet from an import! Although is borrows all it's design details (VW, BMW, etc)...it's a great looking melting pot of design ideas! I would not hesitate to buy it if I had the chance.

@geoffmarsh No its not the same. Its the same design and platform but the US version is blander. The specifications in other countries are different, we dot get the clear amber front headlights nor the LED daytime running light. The engines are also different variants.
Emailed a Customer relations rep for Kia Canada, he said this song was done by the in-house studio for the advertising division of Kia Korea. No name or associated file.
Ya i agree, i just searched for the song, thought it was the one from Hannah, an this was hard to find, everytime I hear this commercial i can't believe its a kia!

by the way i think this song is also used in a commercial for TVA (well known channel in the province of Quebec, Canada), more precisely a commercial for their "guys movies nights"... anyways if someone knows what i mean, just let me know so i know I'm not crazy!

10 years for me, but my pop brought mine brand new in 2012 and he died and it was given to me I kinda grew up in it so means a lot to me haha
