It´s very useful to have this kind of presenter aid in a live teaching situation. I use Pro Mouse for zooming, highlighting and writing. And if i have the need to be on screen when presenting I Use quicktime and have "always on top" on (when i don´t use the ATEM mini). But that "Fade the camera window" was really cool. Now I exploring how i can utilise Keynote´s Live-camera to make my presentations (even more!) engaging and fun... for me to produce😄
Thanks for watching and for the recommendation for Pro Mouse, Morgan! That looks like a great one too with lots of options. I’m very excited for the Cameo feature coming in PowerPoint too. I hope it’ll be able to bring in others from a meeting to do co-presenting in a professionally formatted way. 🤞
Really useful. Exactly what i was looking for. Clear and calm presentation by you🙌 For me this will complement my tools used with Atem mini Extreme and Davinci Resolve. Question, the Sony camera you use, how is it connected to your Mac?
Thanks for watching! I connect my A6400 with micro-HDMI-to-HDMI and an Elgato Camlink 4K to my Mac. I have it set to 1080p because that’s the wider field of view.
I just finished watching the video and wow, this was so useful! Thanks again for making this & showing exactly your settings. I'm so getting all of the IXEAU apps haha. Also I relate, they are so visually pleasing. Would love to see a video on how to set up the StreamDeck and what all it can do (as I am considering buying it & trying to justify the price 😆) Also, may I ask please how did you do the transition at 01:08? (where your wide sit-down talking shot zooms in to the square head shot in the bottom corner, and then in the end it zooms back out to full screen). It looks great! 🙂
Great Video, I learned a whole lot. Curious, Was the center and max command native to OS or did you write a script for it. I can't seem to duplicate on my MacBook. 🤔
Thanks for watching! It’s actually a keyboard shortcut for an app I use for window management called Magnet. There’s a command to center the window “crtl+opt+C” and one for maximize “curl+opt+return”. So the keys on my stream deck are just keyboard shortcuts for those two commands. Hope that helps!
Silly question but at 18:31 your video PIP scrolls out to the left to take it off the screen, How is this done? Thanks for the really useful software tips really appreciate your video - bought the bundle :-)
Hey Alan, thanks for watching! That little animation was actually done in Camtasia that I use to record and edit my videos. I used a custom animation that you drag onto the timeline. You set the start and end positions and then it animates between the two. Unfortunately that’s not a live demo function.
