There was kind of a rumour lately suggesting that the All Blacks reign might be over 🤔… It seems to me that they are still at their best ! As a french rugby fan, I think that the opening game of the next World Cup should be a spectacular and thrilling one !
I think the rumour stems from the popularity of Rugby in New Zealand declining in the last decade or so. The NZR system relies heavily on getting players involved in Rugby at the junior level (age 5-13) & then build those players throughout High School. But NZR has been losing players to other sports (soccer, basketball & rugby league have grew massively in popularity) & they’re losing them at the junior level. In turn we have started seeing Rugby Clubs having to close it doors due to them not being able to field teams because they lack players. It’s only a matter of time before we see it take it’s toll at the international level.

Hope more games get hosted at Mt Smart, bloody good venue. Over the years I thought it was pretty meh but it just seems a lot more up to current standard especially with the lighting and the pitch looking fantastic.
All Blacks really played well here. Their ball movement just outstanding. They really keep the ball going so fast while pushing strong, very well done guys. Boks caught offguard with this rapid movements.
we won but we're far from complete, they really had some good training sessions the plan was executed with quite a lot of discipline considering pace and rushing defence, i believe both sides have more in them
The Boks were certainly off their game a bit with quite a few unforced errors. Maybe the ABs went a bit off the boil after the first quarter, but their discipline held. Lots of scope for improvement for both teams, for sure. But, it was a solid, entertaining match.
@@rothnieoosthuizen3728to beat these Northern hemisphere teams we need to be at our best that's including NZ and SA, this test match showed we both have a lot to work on, good luck at the World Cup
A as French fan, good to see The ABs going back to their ruthless best. The opening match should be something. But they will need to be at the top for 80 minutes. Here, as against Agentina, i've got the impression they give everything during the first half and then tend to fade a bit. Will Jordan is frightening.
Barrett's short kicking game seems to combine really effectively with Jordan's ability to make a break and contest the ball. Anytime you can get Jordan is space or behind the line is a good time, and Barrett seems to be able to put those kick-passes right where they need to go.
It's the perfect way to neutralise a rushing defensive line. The one these two magicians pulled off last year was sublime. A pre planned attack where a precision chip by Beaudy was regathered at pace by Willy J before effortlessly stepping the fullback to score. Magic out of nothing..
Congratulations ALL BLACKS 🖤 Good game 👍 A game between to big Rugby teams 🏉 Greetings from Portugal 💚🇵🇹❤ All the best Wishes from Portugal 💚🇵🇹❤ Rugby is the best 🏉

ABs look to be coming back to form at the right time. Great to see but makes me somewhat worried as an Irish fan. If we face off in the quarters then I only see one winner unfortunately. Great game and good luck against the Aussies.
It's a knockout tournament and anything can happen, especially to the favourites. We know that as AB's fans. I wouldnt worry too much. Ireland are a good side and will be there or there abouts . Will be tough facing you guys if we meet.
@@432htz3agree, NZ, SA, Ireland and France are the top 4 sides in the world right now and they can all beat each other on any given day. It will be tough for all teams, but this world cup will probably be the best yet, can't wait for it.
The intensity of the 1st 15mins from the AB's was unbelievable. AB's usually start hard & fast, but Ive never seen anything like that before. Ive also never seen such a successful tactical kicking game from the AB's. Nearly every kick was on target & chased effectively - absolutely superb. @@Ric-Flair It's always amusing when people like you blame Fozzie for the losses yet refuse to give him any credit for the wins, & instead credit his assistants. 🤣🤣 Oh well, haters are gonna hate no matter what.....
Classic match. Boks need a new fullback if Willie is no longer up to playing at this level. Smith’s battering try was terrific. The AB backs show why NZ is so dangerous in open play, that flair was lacking for a few years. Well done to both teams.
Le Roux is one of South Africa's best players, especially when attacking. He is usually involved when South Africa score their tries. He makes such a difference to the side. The game against Ireland last year is a good example when he was on the bench and had such a good impact when he came on

This WC is gonna be so interesting, I’m excited
Congrats to the ABs from SA. The first 20 minutes were unbelievable. There is nothing like matches between these two. Balls to the wall on the field but huge respect off the field.
Clash of the titans
Great match, excellent result! The ABs were ruthless.
No they weren't. They didn't kill the boks off. They let them back into the game.
Great game from the men in black!
You are such an inspiration. Thank you ❤
That vision from Richie to not pass and concede an intercept was amazing.
How's about the dive for the try though? Proper stuff yea
He was probably the worst player when we played SA at Ellis park
@@Trajan2401 aw shut up bro, Mounga is helping NZ win
Good win All Blacks,i thought it would be closer at first, but not this night.🏴👍👏
Hope more games get hosted at Mt Smart, bloody good venue. Over the years I thought it was pretty meh but it just seems a lot more up to current standard especially with the lighting and the pitch looking fantastic.
Mt. Smart is where the All Blacks famously destroyed the Boks by 57-0 about 6 years ago.
@@godisbollocksActually that was at a different ground. North Harbour Stadium on the other side of Auckland.
@@teem2395it's safe to say Auckland isn't a place Where the Boks get the better of us...the same can't be said about Wellington tho 🫢😂
@@teem2395 You're right, it was.
Yus we got a snotklap, well done to the ABs! Great to see them back to their slick selves.
Shannon Frizzel was a monster this match, what a man
Needs to play like that consistently he's hot and cold
All Blacks really played well here. Their ball movement just outstanding. They really keep the ball going so fast while pushing strong, very well done guys. Boks caught offguard with this rapid movements.
Shades of Jonah in that try of Frizzels
congrats to the mighty abs! good to see your guys back! see you in the world cup!
That was some Great Teamwork All Blacks😃.
we won but we're far from complete, they really had some good training sessions the plan was executed with quite a lot of discipline considering pace and rushing defence,
i believe both sides have more in them
The Boks were certainly off their game a bit with quite a few unforced errors. Maybe the ABs went a bit off the boil after the first quarter, but their discipline held. Lots of scope for improvement for both teams, for sure. But, it was a solid, entertaining match.
@@rothnieoosthuizen3728to beat these Northern hemisphere teams we need to be at our best that's including NZ and SA, this test match showed we both have a lot to work on, good luck at the World Cup
that kick by Mounga to Jordan is a typical Crusaders plays...quick switching attack to the blind side. Superb
Everyone seems to be looking at France, Ireland, and SA, but NZ seem to be brewing nicely, under the radar for the RWC.
I'd still be looking at France and Ireland. Their last game was far higher calibre than this.

What a match. The ABs are on fire. Cannot wait to see them play France in the World Cup opener.
A as French fan, good to see The ABs going back to their ruthless best. The opening match should be something. But they will need to be at the top for 80 minutes. Here, as against Agentina, i've got the impression they give everything during the first half and then tend to fade a bit. Will Jordan is frightening.
That Frizell try floored me!!!!!!!1111
Barrett's short kicking game seems to combine really effectively with Jordan's ability to make a break and contest the ball.
Good first and last 20mins from ABs. Heck of an arm wrestle in between.
Congratulations ALL BLACKS 🖤 Good game 👍 A game between to big Rugby teams 🏉 Greetings from Portugal 💚🇵🇹❤ All the best Wishes from Portugal 💚🇵🇹❤ Rugby is the best 🏉
Good game boys. South Africa played well in the 2nd half and showed y they are world champions and still a big threat. I so can't wait to world cup time as long as it stays in the southern hemisphere ill be happy
Man as a French that match was frigthening. It looked like a combat not a rugby match
All Blacks v France is the combat I want to see. Rugby is not a martial art, but it is a combat sport.
Aaaah this is why I love this game ! Even though we lost haha congratulations to the all blacks as always they have shown great sportsmanship, they're literally the only team I'm okay with losing too. Tge second Australia wins I blame the ref lol
Brilliant performance by ABS peaking nicely 👌 👏 👍
Coaching the ABs is pretty simple really... get the ball in Jordan's hands as often as humanly possible. The guy creates magic for himself and others.
He will go down as one of the greats.
@@stevenh7842 yeah for sure . Should be a good one.
All Blacks are playing Scotland in the quarters.
Outstanding game. Outstanding All Black performance
The intensity of the 1st 15mins from the AB's was unbelievable. AB's usually start hard & fast, but Ive never seen anything like that before.
Ive also never seen such a successful tactical kicking game from the AB's. Nearly every kick was on target & chased effectively - absolutely superb.
Credit & huge respect to SA for coming back & making a game of it, & condolences to the Etzebeth family on their loss.
Its early days but as a Kiwi you couldn't wish for anything better in the run-up to the RWC, & it's nice to see Fozzie's plan & vision coming together after his public lynching.
(Imagine if Fozzie were to win the RWC, only to be immediately terminated)
Ryan should be getting the credit not fozzie
@@Ric-Flair
It's always amusing when people like you blame Fozzie for the losses yet refuse to give him any credit for the wins, & instead credit his assistants. 🤣🤣

Why do you ask if Im a negro...?

Classic match. Boks need a new fullback if Willie is no longer up to playing at this level. Smith’s battering try was terrific. The AB backs show why NZ is so dangerous in open play, that flair was lacking for a few years. Well done to both teams.
Le Roux is one of South Africa's best players, especially when attacking. He is usually involved when South Africa score their tries. He makes such a difference to the side. The game against Ireland last year is a good example when he was on the bench and had such a good impact when he came on
@@11jsaid63, not in this match. Everyone starts to fade eventually. The trick is to make the change before he becomes a liability, not after.
Turnstile Willy
Only seen the highlights but it looked a cracking game. Personally, I don't really give too much credence to WR rankings. My money is on one of these two teams to win the RWC. Also refreshing to see true Boks rugby fans congratulating the ABs on the win. Great stuff
they are only the rankings since 2003. for all time ABS out in front with 77% win rate. No 1 by far.
My money is on France. And I'm a Kiwi.
@@JaemanEdwardswhen they were lucky to beat Australia and SA at home a few months ago that was when I felt theyre very beatable especially when NZ have destroyed SA and Australia since
@@Trajan2401 I know what you're saying. I actually have money already down on my World Cup picks. The early odds are always the best odds, and I didn't want to be swayed by recent results like I've done in past world cups. I think France will finally take this cup on home soil. But I'm more than happy to lose my wager if the mighty All Blacks win it for a 4th time.
What a performance
from the All Blacks. I wasn’t
expecting such a start against
a quality Boks team. Fritzell,
and whole forward pack were on!
Mounga, Jordan were outstanding
Boks improved in the 2nd half.
Looking forward to the World Cup
Wow
What a set of highlights. That's the kind of rugby I love watching.
Congrats ABs, from an Aussie

@@jdb9388 Ah I wasn't expecting more to be fair. I hope all these games are Eddie trying to figure out what the team needs for the RWC.
After this match, I wonder if the ABs are in for another final. I still think France and Ireland are favourites, but the rugby you guys played in this match was incredible. Matched the bok's muscle and then added flair.
Highlights don't show Frizell first run.
@@jeremydow1432 shame.
They're decent highlights usually.

The way NZ kept the ball alive to create Frizzell’s try was beautiful!
One of the best team tries I've seen in a very long time.
And Frizzel was the closest thing I've seen to Jonah in 20-odd years!
Awesome team try. Cody Taylor is always a great link man in situations like these and the role he plays is underrated.
I loved the skill by Beaudy when he did the round the back pass whist being pushed back in the tackle.
@@user-yb9hi3us4p Totally! I’ll take a try like this, where almost everyone handles the ball (forwards with beautiful hands, no less!), and crash over any day of the week.

Great game by the ABs and even great to see fans coming together to support the team, just in time for the WC. I guess this settles BB at #15 and the dual playmaker criticism. I thought BB had a spectacular game which added such a variety to the attacking side of the play.
Beaudy in the reserves. Shaun Stevenson at the back.
