Those who couldn't watch the 80 minutes will catch an excellent glimpse of everything that happened by just watching this video, the only exception being the squeaky-bum time from the 78th to the 80th minute. I still can't imagine how the boys held on till the clock went red. Who else has the mental tenacity to hold off: 🏉 A 78th-minute penalty - Ford's kick bounced off the post. 🏉 A 79th-minute scrum down - immense forward play kept England off the 5-yard line. 🏉An 80th-minute drop goal - Ford kicked wide. By the time his boot made contact with the ball, 5 All Blacks were less than a metre away. That was more than belief! The last time I witnessed such drama was during the RWC 2023 Quarter-Final against Ireland. With the All Blacks leading 28-24 in the 69th minute, the men in green embarked on a ruthless attack, sparking fears of a possible implosion. The All Blacks mounted a defence never seen before. It took collective team determination and Sam Whitelock's vast experience to turn over the ball after 35 phases by the Irish to send them back to Dublin. The unsung heroes who deserve special commendation include Razor, Jason Ryan, and Grant Nisbett.
@@Spoky1__823 I bet I'm still recovering from the shivers. Thanks for the idea, though. I'll certainly give it a shot; hopefully I won't shoot blanks like George Ford 😂
How many chances do you need England ffs. ABs had yellow cards, penalty against and every play reviewed and you still screwed it up. Why attempt a droppie when there is a massive advantage to force a penalty in the opposition 22, you let the ABs off the hook coz I have no doubt the ref would have found a penalty in England's favour.
England did have more than enough chances, but it wasn't the ref giving it to them, the AB's discipline was shocking. The Poms were well disciplined and had been well coached!!
"Not in great shape" is an understatement for Codey's condition after that head knock. The replay from behind the posts showed him falling after getting up from the tackle. I hope he'll be available for the France game but I'm not sure at all.
Don't know but ever since it's introduction I've not seen it used against Opposition unless painfully obvious we need to make the law 1 minute behind current moment of play to prevent this bs
Is Mark Telea quietly becoming the best wing in rugby? Dude isn't just the last hands on the ball either. Does a lot of work himself. if him and Jordan can stay healthy, the ABs have a lethal pair of finishers
Nope as he has a weakness against aerial attacks and he's undersized. Which is why they brought Clarke back to address some of those issues. That was exposed during the England tests in NZ.
@@Islandkid679 I can't say much about the aerial attack stuff, but undersized is a wild accusation. He's not a power wing, I guess (like Savea or Clarke), but the guy can finish tries with footwork and strength, and having a balance in your back three is good. Besides, look at guys like Cheslin Kolbe and tell me being undersized is a major issue for elite players...
WHY IS THE REF GIVING PENALTIES AWAY WITH LITTLE TO NO EVIDENCE AB's MAKING TACKLES ON PLAYERS WITHOUT THE BALL, YOU SLOW THE PLAY DOWN AND THE REF's FIRST TWO CALLS WERE SO WRONG HE DOESN'T EVEN ASK THE BUNKER IF IT WAS................TIME FOR A.I TO START REFFING OUR GAMES.
First one was a shocker. He literally gets tackled a fraction of a second after he passes the ball and continues to run into the tackler that was already committed. What does the ref expect the tackler to do? Just disappear? 🤷 Second one wasn't much different and then they just kept sending dummy runners directly into NZ tacklers for the whole game.
First the refs says knock on my Caleb Clark in the tackle then he says play on with advantage to England and then he calls advantage over by England than nz gets a try then he calls a no try to the all blacks because he changes his Caleb clack knock on into a penalty wtf first his initial calls was a knock on advantage to England then it changes to no try penalty against the all blacks wtf that just BS man
Didn't the referee say advantage over from the knock on the 58.25s mark, then AB get the ball and score, then he disallows the same try for the same knock on. Then gives a penalty for deliberate knock-on? If Ref thought it was deliberate then why didn't he give a yellow card? Unless he thought it wasn't deliberate which warranted a penalty or advantage play which he said "advantage over for the knock"

Absolute shocker pulling the play back ten years just because they need to find anything they can there should be a 1 minute rule if the bunker doesn't call anything within a minute they can't bring the play back, the play should not go to something that happened 3 minutes earlier in the game
Not really, as it tries to do too much. SA and Ireland's rush defence is far more polished and effective. Their aggressiveness opens up so many gaps when caught out and the ABs exploited them.
@@GeorgeJames-o5y It's a game of opportunities, ABs took their opportunities well. Tupou Vaa'i felt that gorgeous defense though 🤣 Also agree with the Irish & SA Defensive systems, farken beautiful.

The All Blacks have disciplinary issues, too many penalties. However, the England rugby is complete shambles, no game plan, very porous defence and a weak bench. France and SA will be a nightmare for England.
Marcus Smith has greatly improved his conversion technique in a few short months. He controls the game really nicely with his ability and field vision.
What with the tackled off the ball rulings? Defender is allowed to hold their ground. There is no requirement/obligation to avoid runners once they're passed the ball carrier. The rule is there to stip players tackling before they get to the ball carrier. Once they've passed, they're offside and can't get the ball
Law is pretty clear, you can't tackle players without the ball unless you've committed to it whilst they had it in possession. ABs were tackling players nowhere near the ball. They were trying to predict where the ball would go next, and got ahead of themselves. Rightly penalised. This is stuff you're taught at junior level, don't try and make excuses.
@@icefarrow7959 First two penalties I agree (although one was late rather than not having had the ball). Third penalty was rubbish.
