Great video. If a Muslim saw a member of any other religion behaving the same way Muslims behave, they would rightly call it idolatry regardless of what the person claimed with their lips. Somehow, they can't see it when they do it themselves though. Also, good timing. My next video will be looking at the same topic from a very different angle - taking the words of a Muslims apologist after what constitutes modern celebrity "worship" and comparing it to hadith about Muslims and Muhammad.

Have you ever considered doing a video discussing the problem with the Muslim mindset? Because from my experience the Muslims have a default position they apply to EVERYTHING. It basically goes like this "if it makes Islam or Muhammad look good, then it's true. But if it makes Islam or Muhammad look bad then it's false." They apply this logic to the Bible (as in any verse that supports Islam is true, and anything opposing it is fabricated), to their history (they actually try and claim that ALL the land they conquered was in defensive wars, despite Islam conquering more land than the Roman Empire) and of course my personal favorite, how they approach the Haddiths (where they say even a Sahih Haddith is false if it doesn't line up with how they want things to be).

It seems mohemadans like to play this little game of rejecting hadiths, claiming that they don't agree with the kooorans, whenever they are embarrassed by them. So why don't mohemadans use this same logic on other hadiths or islameic practices as well? For example, mutah is not abrogated in the koooran but is abrogated in the hadiths, yet sunnis accept the hadiths over the koooran. The koooran permits only 4 wives for mohemadans, yet mohemadans accept the fact that muhummud had 11 wives because it's in the hadiths. None of the names of muhummud's wives are mentioned in the kooorans yet mohemadans accept them from the hadiths. The story of muhummud receiving revelation inside a cave from Gabriel is not exactly mentioned in the kooorans yet mohemadans accept it. The ritual of kissing the black stone again is not mentioned in the kooorans yet mohemadans accept it. The exact practice of performing salat or wudu not in the kooorans. The shahada and the 5 pillars are not explicitly mentioned in the kooorans but can be found in the hadiths. Also, the practice of adult breastfeeding doesn't really contradict the kooorans. The kooorans talk about breastfeeding for infants whereas the hadiths talk about breastfeeding for ADULTS. So I don't see any contradiction. If the hadith was really contradictory why is it included in the list of sahih collections?
I would add a comment to the point of Mohammad’s miracles. All of them are focused on the person of Mohammad, not the glory of God. Mohammad didn’t affect anyone’s healing, recovery, improvement, etc by simply praying to God and watching God get glorified. His miracles revolve around people touching him, stalking him, and sneaking into his bedroom. He’s the hero. He’s the special snowflake. We Christians say people are healed by touching Jesus because Jesus is God. If Mohammad is only a human, what makes his DNA so supernatural? Even if Muslims try to compare this to the apostles healing people with a touch, the apostles’ bodies were vessels for the Holy Spirit. They readily admitted it was the Holy Spirit, and not their own hands, responsible for miracles. But Mohammad didn’t have this. So whence came his special DNA?

That is definitely a viable theory based on what we read in early (non-Islamic) texts that predate the hadith which whitewashed/invented what we call Islam.

They praised the one God and prayed in the direction of the stars, they also idealized John the Baptist (or at least some sects did) and were awaiting the Messiah since they did not recognize Christ as the true messiah. I think most of his viewers would have a problem with the Orthodox Church if they knew more about it. I commonly see comments from his viewers calling Islam, "Catholic." Since the Orthodox honor and love Mary and kiss Icons and crosses as a symbol of love of God like us Catholics. I know you aren't worshiping a picture or a man-made cross, but they seem to think love love of God as a zero-some game where any symbol of love given in prayer, (even if you and I know it's not worshiping anything but God) takes away from love of God. I really think, especially given the date of the book, he could have done a better job of incorporating more data. There were many times I expected footnotes and there were none.
The concept of Islam as idolatry was introduced to me years ago as I read the testimony of a former Muslim in Africa. When he was explaining how it dawned on him that worshiping a big rock (he didn't mention Mohammad) was the same as worshiping an idol as he came to better understand Christianity, it seemed so obvious to me. It's amazing how far it is from Christianity, but Muslims will invoke Jesus when given the chance to get followers.

Have you ever considered doing a video discussing the problem with the Muslim mindset? Because from my experience the Muslims have a default position they apply to EVERYTHING. It basically goes like this "if it makes Islam or Muhammad look good, then it's true. But if it makes Islam or Muhammad look bad then it's false." They apply this logic to the Bible (as in any verse that supports Islam is true, and anything opposing it is fabricated), to their history (they actually try and claim that ALL the land they conquered was in defensive wars, despite Islam conquering more land than the Roman Empire) and of course my personal favorite, how they approach the Haddiths (where they say even a Sahih Haddith is false if it doesn't line up with how they want things to be).

The koooran permits only 4 wives for mohemadans, yet mohemadans accept the fact that muhummud had 11 wives because it's in the hadiths.

I would add a comment to the point of Mohammad’s miracles. All of them are focused on the person of Mohammad, not the glory of God. Mohammad didn’t affect anyone’s healing, recovery, improvement, etc by simply praying to God and watching God get glorified. His miracles revolve around people touching him, stalking him, and sneaking into his bedroom. He’s the hero. He’s the special snowflake. We Christians say people are healed by touching Jesus because Jesus is God. If Mohammad is only a human, what makes his DNA so supernatural?
Even if Muslims try to compare this to the apostles healing people with a touch, the apostles’ bodies were vessels for the Holy Spirit. They readily admitted it was the Holy Spirit, and not their own hands, responsible for miracles. But Mohammad didn’t have this. So whence came his special DNA?

In my country it will get us killed so we have to accept the lies. At work i was hearing that halal meat is the most humane method of slaughter. I think most of his viewers would have a problem with the Orthodox Church if they knew more about it. I commonly see comments from his viewers calling Islam, "Catholic." Since the Orthodox honor and love Mary and kiss Icons and crosses as a symbol of love of God like us Catholics. I know you aren't worshiping a picture or a man-made cross, but they seem to think love love of God as a zero-some game where any symbol of love given in prayer, (even if you and I know it's not worshiping anything but God) takes away from love of God. It's just another way we pray. You would think they thought reading from their Bible was dangerously close to Idolizing a book.
Oh and they definitely think the Eucharist is is idolatry even though Jesus commanded we eat his flesh and drink his blood or we shall have no life within us. He wasn't being symbolic, otherwise he would have lost far fewer followers after commanding it and then doubling down on that command.

I have this feeling you are appreciating the Janosik book and likely finished it long ago as I hear hints of what I've read so far. My problem is I have 4-5 books going simultaneously. I think Kindle versions make this worse. :-/ Keep up the great work.

I really think, especially given the date of the book, he could have done a better job of incorporating more data. There were many times I expected footnotes and there were none.

The concept of Islam as idolatry was introduced to me years ago as I read the testimony of a former Muslim in Africa. When he was explaining how it dawned on him that worshiping a big rock (he didn't mention Mohammad) was the same as worshiping an idol as he came to better understand Christianity, it seemed so obvious to me. It's amazing how far it is from Christianity, but Muslims will invoke Jesus when given the chance to get followers.
