The reason why red dead redemption is coming to the os4 and the switch is because they're both the biggest and more recent install bases. So they have a bigger chance to make more money, especially on the switch because its a hot platform with the biggest relevant install base.

People still have these companies in much higher consideration then they deserve. Comercialy this moove makes total sense, Rockstar is going to take the opportunity to profit on the switch and ps4 bandwagon before they are really fased out, and then they can release a true remake for Ps5.. If they released a remake for ps5 now, they hould not profit from the ginormous install base of PS4 and Switch, plus Ps4 owners can also play it because of Playstation BC
