I am resident in the USA; have traveled a good bit in the UK and have walked a few of your public paths. I truly enjoy videos like this that follow paths and find villages and pubs. As a member of CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale (and Cider), I also have an interest in British pubs and craft drinks. I wish the pub had let you film a bit inside! Cheers!

Another great video there Tom,if I knew you were in Cambridge I would of said hello. Been really inspired by your channel and started to do some of the Essex pub walks,good little book that. I've done a few wild camps but the only trouble is that Cambridgeshire is very agricultural,not many forestry areas. Anyway after watching quite a few of your clips ,I've decided to subscribe to you. Spot on Tom nice lowe profile set up mate. I really like the look of the ridge raider style bivvy. I was watching a terra nova jupiter bivvy on ebay a couple of months back and it sold for about £240 second hand. Thanks for sharing Tom. Atb Sconja 👍
Tom's right, keep an eye on ebay. I picked mine up off there in mint condition for £150. But I missed out on a few because they just went above my budget.

When i first seen the terra nova jupiter bivvy it didn't have a single bid on it and i thought i was onto a winner but on the last day of bidding the price went through the roof and well out of my budget. pretty cool your trekking with all sorts of good guys. If I ever do make if over there, I would like to walk a few of these, including the last one where you almost had man down! Hey Tom, going to meet a guy this Friday night from L.A. that saw my comment on one of your beginning videos and asked to join me. His name is Tom as well. I dont know how good he is but I am planning a 6 mile walk up a canyon, then a full days climb up the wall, to an old gold mine, TRY, to get around it, to see IF another old mine portal still exists on the far side. IF it does, Ill most likely be the first to see it since the early 1920's, when the trail collapsed and all ways to it fell 800' to the canyon floor. We plan to camp on the side of the hill. So, I hope he has self confidence. I will not be his baby sitter.

Nice one Tom. I think that tarp bivi is the way to go in winter. I got the Jack Wolfskin Gossamer after watching one of your vids. Might have to try it with my DD tarp. Might be overkill but comfort is everything.

can't believe you only paid 12 pounds for that sleeping bag!! looks like it's still a great quality bag!I'm still using my 25+ year old Coleman sleeping bag

Sconja Outdoors 76 neither are cheap sadly. EBay is your best bet for sure. Worth it though when you get out with them. Cheers for watching mate.
