They did not smile, though the sense of longing was strong in their bones. Too long had they left the sea. Their ship was waiting with the crew they'd assembled in their absence. Indeed they did not know a single man who would be joining them on their voyage, but they were ready to learn their names and faces. They would have to learn them as well as they had learned the sea if together they were to survive the long voyage ahead. Home. They were voyaging home.

I've been steadily writing my book with your ambience videos playing in the bg. My project was slowed down recently because of some injections I had to get, it was hard to sit upright and write, but I'm slowly getting back into it and so glad to see this upload :'D Thanks for all the inspiration!
The fact that it has a compass suggests to me that this temple is/was a place for guiding people to/from the shores of this... beach? Country? The rest of the world becomes apparent from here.
The timing of this is just perfect, im working on a deserted temple ruin / dungeon for my ttrpg players to encounter next session. :) Keep up the good work, i wish you well!

And both slowly seen exploring such after crossing the long way and making notes of what is found before they head back to the main land. sort of learning of the past since she is interested. and to see her stand where the main temple once stood and looking at the marks in the stone work and the land in the distance. well you get the idea :) she like to explore so why not. it is only a idea. for we all want to see more of her adventures and more blue turtle and music. :) please keep going with this. this is the first i comment one of your videos but this is really just perfect : i started writing a series screenplay talking about the discovery of an ancient greek temple and these drawings+musics are so inspiring. thank you for your work, it's wonderful and really helps the writing process, even more so in this case.
The temple stood like the crumbling bones of some ancient beast upon the hilltop. One could almost see, gazing upon it, that time when it had been great, when it was the very stuff of legends to which it was now reduced, like the jaws of that beast opening to reveal a fairytale within, a ballad of times long past. There was something uncanny about it, the old world and the new coalescing upon the green of that hill, their collision so great it could produce but a ruin and a memory of a behemoth, the nature of the new world working to consume it from above, the old world lurking bellow, its breath causing the land to rise and fall like the tide. Ithya sighed once, just once, as she beheld it. It was time. Poetry was one thing, but magic was entirely another, and this place was stuffed full of it.
I’m reading a lot of re-telling of Ancient Greek mythology, such as The Song of Achilles and The Silence of the Girls, so these vibes are perfect for when I do my reading :3
