Wasp was running the simulation again. Specifically of the Venom Goblin New York attack from a few months back. Where She-Hulk and an assortment of allies put down Norman Osborn who managed to bond with the Venom symbiote. She pondered what would she do in such a scenario and how she would handle something so overwhelming in so many parts of the city. Most likely with help from the Avenger's? Hm. Hawkeye would surely be invaluable with his arrows and his ability to deal with targets. Moongirl's great mind would help come up with ideas that can solve each new problem (along with the help of Devil Dinosaur that destructive menace). No doubt SHIELD would be involved so they need to factor into the simulation. This would have to be solved with capable leadership and a great intellect. Yet, the simulation was long, grueling, painful and SO CLOSE to a success. Once Venom Goblin was cornered he seemed to double down in his strength and give one last moment to take him down before he would unleash everything in a maddened fury. Janet had to consider her options again. Perhaps there was another way to approach things... She had nearly the brute strength of She-Hulk in her giant form, an ingenious mind that can get results again and again... What was she missing? Jennifer Walters balance of heroism and paperwork? Her sense of humor? A best friend in a catsuit that was a lot of fun at book club? Janet would deal with this equation later and run the simulation again in a later day. She wouldn't quit so easily she had the stick-to-itiveness, though for now she closed the simulation and thought to herself, "Thankfully Venom Goblin is not my responsibility." ------------------------------------------- What a game! Once more not a fan of Leadership but definitely a fan of Wasp! What a GRUELING game and sometimes grueling games are the the best to watch as it's always interesting to see if you can pull yourself out of the pit and come back. As those hype moments in Marvel Champions are SO BADASS to see! Winning after a surge fest! Sometimes you win and sometimes... Well... (Sometimes INSTANTLY losing). It was still a blast to see and I'm happy you post losses as well as wins. It's great for learning/teaching alongside being relateable and making matches fun to watch for the 'Will they win?' SUCH a game though! 6 HP left, symbiote environment in place SUCH a tense game. Alongside the usual great decision making over the course of the game that's helpful to hear. Wasp has always been on my list of heroes to focus on, especially as she was the second hero pack I bought (after Pool, Hood and Mojo purchases) and always loved the cards in her kit... Yet always wanted to do great with her. BUT! I've never tried her out fully D: Only briefly and never gave her that fair shake. Watching your video though did inspire me as I realized... there are several great Pool cards with mental resources Including one of my favorite alter-ego enablers in the game. I'll have to hit the laboratory. This may be... Ingenious (OR IT COULD BE AN ABSOLUTE MESS THAT BACKFIRES)
I’m excited to see what you come up, Ritsy! I thought i would really like Wasp, but after playing her I’m not as big of a fan. I find it difficult to balance 3 sides since i really want to flip to AE but need access to tiny or giant form too. I’m glad you enjoyed this game and i enjoyed reading your thematic simulation as always 😂👌🏻 really looking forward to your ideas with ‘pool Wasp
@@shanepheeney9029 Thank you! Means a lot! I'm really glad people enjoy my silly short stories. Writing out what goes on or how these scenarios occur is a great writing exercise.
I love how you never rewind, not even one step. Like when you could have thwarted to get the benefit of the ability, you were like “oh, well” and just continue on.
Honestly I thought you’d love Wasp for her MoonGirl recursion power lol. Don’t forget when Beetle gets knocked out they get shuffled back in unless you pay the physical resource. Love your play videos! Thank you!
Yea i wished i didn’t miss Beetle. That may have changed the way the encounter cards were dealt and potential saved the game 😅 I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying these videos. I always miss things like that in MC too but trying to get better!
I always advocate: If you're in AE and could use some healing, the default option is *get healing* - don't flip up to Hero without it. You need to "HARD" argue a case for not for doing so.
I like Wasp for a recycling mental abitity, but you need a bit of experience with her to understand what to recycle, and when to recycle, but you are on the right track. That said, her most difficult challenge is to build. She needs a lot of stuff: mansion, ingenuity, helicarier, quinncarrier on board to become efficient, and she can brick during that building process, even with Power in All of Us, Nick Fury and Moon Girl, that are "must include" for her to work IMO. Other than that, I think the deck you used was pretty fine tuned. Nothing flashy, but everything being good in it. Don't worry about the loss, I think you should try a weaker villain like Thanos or Magneto to help understanding her "flow".
Thanks Albert! Appreciate the advice. She’s definitely difficult to understand. I feel like i have a handle of flipping from AE to Hero, but adding an addition Hero form that i need to balance flipping into made things difficult for me
Ah Bad luck! It's funny I made a deck very like this at the end of October & called it Wasp WWF Style, once I had checked you hadn't made your own. I never really enjoyed Wasp but this has been quite fun - I'm not sure Wasp does much more than have "Genius" printed on her though!
You should be more lenient towards yourself and allow to rewind at least one step. We always allow one move rewinds, sometimes even two if it's fast in our small group. And dang, you really put these lower tier heroes through the wringer. Good stuff though, you dare things I would never even dream of!
First ever? Nice!! Have you done Ant Man? i always like seeing how similar but differently they play out. It's a little subtle but i do like ant man just a little more
Yea Ant-Man seems to be more smooth because he doesn’t want to go to AE as much. The benefits to flipping from tiny to giant and vice versa seem better too!
I found Moxie a bit too situational for this deck because i wanted to flip down to AE a lot. I think if the deck focused more on staying in one of the 2 heroe forms and flipping from one to another Moxie would be better. Really glad to hear you still enjoyed this game, thank you :)
@@webwarriorfanatic I have a question, in one of my games with Doctor Strange I used Summoning Spell and discarded Ant-Man, does he enters play with 4 counters on him or does he get discarded because I didn't use any resources to pay for him?
Oh man... really close. It's almost reassuring to see you lose to Venom Goblin ;D You played really well and I never really liked Wasp. Her kit, especially in contrast to Antmen, seems quite weak and frequent flipping doesn't give her any advantage, like with Antman. Genius trait with Leadership is a guarantee for a strong deck, but that alone is sometimes still not enough.
Thanks jehoba! Yea i like Ant-Man’s kit more too. It’s tough for me to juggle flipping to alter-ego and 2 other hero forms so i like that Ant-Man has less focus on AE. Glad you liked this L haha 😆

It's becoming a meme... Come for WWF's game and stay for Ritsy's rundown. :)
Love it both of you 🥰

Thanks Kazuchi! A lot of times i am more lenient. Its weird i randomly pick and choose when to rewind 😂😅
If only you had that quincarrier… :(
Haha yea that ended up being crucial 🥲

I always enjoy playing Ant-Man and Wasp with my sister. I still have to try Wasp with the Moongirl deck.
Love that thematic duo! Hope you enjoy playing her with Suit Up 😁
Even if you didn't win it was still an amazing gameplay, how come you didn't add Moxie to your deck? I find it a must in Wasp and Ant-Man decks.
