As a fellow tuba player, the songs fun, but there’s no break from how loud you play. Our band also has awful trombones,, so the tubas were given a lot of trombone melodie’s.
I love star wars I know all the soundtracks and I suggested this to my band teacher. I'm so happy she took it into consideration and now we're playing it! 8th grade trumpet hopefully this will be fun to play.

Revisiting the peice that made me fall in love with band and my instrument after three years is amazing. March of the resistance is really what did it for me.
This music piece was amazing! Although I have no interest in Star Wars, I say It's very powerful and unique. John Williams did a wonderful job of composing this. My middle school band was going to play this entire thing, but it was just too difficult. But I kept practicing my part and listening to this, observing 18 different instruments.

it can be kinda weird and uncomfortable playing a tune you don’t know, but once you keep working at it and listening to recordings, you’ll get it down without a doubt! i know this was a year ago, but if you ever have any troubles with hard parts, play the measures about 50-100 beats slower (depends on the original tempo) and try messing around with the articulation. try cutting out ties or replacing staccatos with tenutos, etc. things like that. hope that helped! :)
