    Why do you have to do OSCE?

    • @CMoneyRN
      @CMoneyRN  3 года назад

      Great question! As a NP, I have to be prepared to conduct quick focused assessments and figure out the medical diagnosis or cause of my patient’s chief complaint. OSCE stands for Objective Structured Clinical Examination and it will help prepare me for when I become a fully licensed nurse practitioner 🙌🏽

      @@CMoneyRN I know about the OSCE but basically international people do when they come to work abroad. For example, if someone comes to do nursing in the UK then they have to do OSCE. I am also international but I don't have to cause I AM studying here. So just wondering, because you are studying in the USA so I thought it is the same as UK.

      Ooo okay I see what you mean now. I’m not sure how it is internationally, but for my school and my program in particular, it is a requirement. I think of it as a master’s program level check off. It’s not something that I am required to do for work here in the United States.

      @@CMoneyRN I see! that’s different... thanks anyway and good luck x ✌️
