  • Whether you are going to take the AANP or ANCC family nurse practitioner exam, it is crucial to know the strategies for studying for FNP certification exams effectively☝️
Despite being a foreign-trained nurse and not speaking English as my first language, I was one of the first to take a family nurse practitioner certification exam and passed it among my classmates😉
In this episode, I will share three secrets to pass an FNP certification exam within the shortest amount of time❤️
    ----------------------
    About ME:
Hi I’m Miki Miura, DNP, APRN, FNP-C👋
I’m a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in Hawaii, USA.
I was born and raised in Japan🇯🇵. I moved to the U.S. to become an NP when I was 25 years old after working as a registered nurse in Japan✈️
English is my second language, but I graduated from my master’s program (MSN FNP program) as a valedictorian👩‍🎓 I have a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree as my final nursing degree.
One of my mottoes is “WORK HARD, PLAY HARD” (which, by the way, is my favorite phrase I learned from American culture😄). While I see patients at three clinical practices, and run online coaching business, I surf three to four times a week🏄‍♀️ and go on a vacation every three to four months🏝️
This ideal work-life balance is possible for you….if you learn how to study/work smart!!!💪

I love the video! Did you use anything to prep for Advanced pharmacology & Patho or any suggestions I start classes soon!

Great question! No, I didn’t. Pharmacology and patho-phys were pretty basic (but essential!), so I focused on mastering the materials I was given for the classes. Good luck with this upcoming semester! 👊

That's a great question! I attended Dr. Fitzgerald’s review course and listened to Barkley and Associate’s review course, too. Best of luck to you!
