Hey, I'm a junior in high school and I am starting to think about colleges I want to apply to next fall. One of the colleges I was considering was Clark Atlanta University, but after watching the video I wanted to know your cons with Clark Atlanta. Thanks in Advance. (btw you're soooo beautiful.)
Thank you so much, but I don't know very much about Clark because it is not my institution. And pros/cons would all be in comparison to Spelman and that wouldn't be fair because it is its own school. But just to answer your questions: the campus is way bigger, of course its co-ed, they have suite style dormitories, even for freshmen, they have a wide variety of majors and minors, they have sports, and they have a larger population. I hope that helped!

Nope all the floors except ground floor have open style and divided rooms
What's considered ground floor? I was given floor 1

Hello- How dis you stay movitivated in High School to get into Spelman? Asking the question for my daughter.
I have always been self motivated to do well in school because that was what was expected of me i my household. I surrounded myself with people who were motivated and we all worked together to do the best we could academically.
Will you get in trouble if administration finds out that you are parking at Morehouse?
No, I'm allowed. I just can't park in Spelman's garage.

Hey, Im currently a senior in HS, from the Atlanta area and I really like Spelman, but it is so expensive!!!! Are you satisfied w/your decision to attend Spelman vs the other hbcu in NC?? And do you think the experience is really worth the price?
I am very satisfied, it's the best decision I've ever made and I wouldn't change it for the world. The experience is worth it, to me. But you have to take that chance for yourself.
Do you not like Clark Atlanta? If not, why?
I love Clark Atlanta, I literally just kid around because its an ongoing inside AUC joke, I still have mad respect for the institution and the students.

Can freshmans have cars on campus?
Nope, but I heard you can park at the Morehouse parking garage.
There are ways just don't try to park in Spelman's parking deck. Morehouse parking deck is $400 per semester I think and it's right next door.

At Spelman you only have one option: community, until you're a junior.
