How To: Holds Locker at the Keller Public Library

Keller Public Library’s new outdoor holds locker is up and running. This tool enables patrons to collect materials placed on hold even when the library is closed.
The device works similarly to the self-checkout machine inside the library. When you place an item on hold and choose the lockers as your pickup location, you will receive an alert when it’s ready. Then, all you have to do is visit the terminal and scan or enter your library card number, and the locker holding your item will open and check the item out to you.
For now, items will remain on hold in the lockers for 10 days; our library team may adjust that if the machine proves popular. Like other holds, the turnaround time for requested materials in stock is 24 to 48 hours.
