Thank you so much! That was my first ever video on RUclips so long ago! I’m glad that it’s still being watched and enjoyed. Welcome to the crafting community!😊
I like this. Well done! I am about to cover some mini books for a charity fund-raising event, so this was inspiring. TFS greetings from England, Elaine x
New subscriber, love the note book, and your pointers. In fact your flower just finishes the book off, I keep saying to myself there is no mistakes in crafting, just go with it and sometimes comes out even better. xxx
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked that video. That is my first one ever, I believe and I’ve come a long way since then. I hope you enjoy the rest of my channel! 💕
Wonderful tutorial...I am participating in my 1st two craft fairs in Sept & Oct at my local church & nursing home and I'm super excited buy so so nervous. Can't seem to find the smaller comp. notebooks but I did find them at Walmart @.50cents each so I picked up two to see how I do! Thanks again....Laura :-)
1:05 I don't understand what part you're referring to. I thought the front side of the cover required only a little more with than the other side of it because of the spine- certainly not half the size? Confused 2:56 did you glue both the ribbon and the notebook or just the notebook?
I appreciate that! Yes, I agree. I think if you add too many embellishments, they get caught on things in your purse. I appreciate that you watched this super old video! The quality was definitely not the best, but this was my first one ever so I like to leave it up and see how far I've come. ;)
Enjoyed your video, I'm left handed also, when in kindergarden they put a bag on my left hand to force me to use my right. Guess what? I write with my left and cut with my right. I've always heard left handed folk use the right hemisphere of the brain and right handed folk use the left hemisphere of their brain. My favorite quote, "We are the only folk in our RIGHT minds." LOL
Actually "fussy cut" refers to what you cut, not how complicated the cut. It means cutting out a specific part of a pattern. For example, if you needed a 1" square of a floral pattern of blue and yellow flowers. A fussy cut would be cutting out a piece where a blue flower was right in the center instead of just cutting 1" from the edge of the paper and getting a random part of the pattern.
I have seen numerous videos on altered notebooks. By far, yours is the best ideas. Thank you so much!!
I appreciate that so much! Thank you!☺️
Loved this idea Christy. I, too, just started crafting. Thank you.

Love the papers used along with the colors used for this project. Thanks for sharing!
They turned out beautiful! I really like the ribbon closure addition.
Thank you so much for watching! This was my first ever video and the quality was terrible but I really appreciate that you enjoyed it anyway!
I love to watch you craft so many cute ideas
Aw, you are so kind! This was my first ever video and it’s pretty poor quality. Thank you for watching anyway!

In which department at Walmart did you get your sanding block, hardware or crafts?
Hardware, but that was many, many years ago. I hope they still carry them! They last forever. I still use the same one!😊
Thank you ,great gift idea and they are solo pretty
You are so welcome! Happy crafting!
So cute yet so simple. I don't like them when they have a lot of embellishments. Yours is very nice. Thanks for showing.

Nice. I saw one at a vendor show and the inside was covered also. How would I do that? Thanks
I am a lefty too and I had to learn to cut with my right hand. I cannot cut with my left at all.
Yay! Lefties unite! Thanks for watching that super old video too! I’ve definitely come a long way.
