My man, you have cost me some coin…😂 my chassis is on its way. Should be 4 to 6 weeks, 8 max. This Channel is great. Every “recommendation,” has been spot on. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Yeah, Vision's chassis is one of the nicest looking and best in terms of functionality. It truly is a premium product, however it's price doesn't go far beyond MDT or Warrior or MPA. I love how it's slightly longer (2 mlok slots, i believe) than MDT ACC which allows for better balancing, imho. All in all, my B14R is very happy to be seated in one of these beauties.
I think this is the best chassis available, but for a straight 1,250 barrel from 28 inch and precision shooting i would like longer handguard to get my bipod more at the front from the rifle. Hope the will be going to produce that to.
Sorry but this is pretty old for us Scandinavians ;) that chassis is AWESOME! Very small Norwegian company that make them. Its really well produced and is very stiff with good balance.
I've got the AI AT Inlet of their original modular chassis! Fantastic bit of kit. Havent got hands on with a Pro Chassis yet but I'm incredibly tempted to build a new rifle for one!
I checked out the details on the Vision Pro chassis. Damn, this is my next chassis. Unfortunately, I have an MDT Elite (fully kitted out) waiting for the L3i Stinger Barreled Action. Question: what are your thoughts on a folding stock on this chassis? It is an option, I am wondering if you would find it useful (for carrying in smaller range bag/case and/or for cleaning setup to insert bore guide and cleaning rod? The website shows there is clearance under the cheek riser to slide a bore brush through without disassembly or removal of the riser (not sure if the bore guide (what bore guide will fit??) but if you had a folding stock mechanism to swing the whole buttstock out of the way, that would be helpful, but only for those times. It would be cool if they designed the skeleton stock openings so that if you fold it towards the bolt side, it would clear the bolt and act as a bit of protection and can leave the bolt installed in the action during transportation with the stock folded over that side. Any feedback from others on the good or bad of folding mechanism?
I havent tried it but it would certainly make it easier to transport and clean. If its anything like the chassis it will be awesome. I will see about getting one and testing it out
Hey Josh, do you think you will be adding the MDT Baker Wings to the Vision chassis? How much weight did you have to add to the chassis to get it to balance?
@@stevenlee2780 i will be leaving the baker wings on the premier for now. To get it to balance i really only needed two sets of weights but i wanted to get it the same weight as my vudoo so i ran 3 sets. All external. Could probably just run internals and 1 set external
I think Josh’s comment was regarding the RimX magazine extension would get in the way if you were trying to adjust the Vision mag catch while the magazine was inserted. No issues with the base (10-round) mag, only if you have installed the +5 round extension, does the extension block your access to the adjustment screws while inserted in the magwell. So, you just have to adjust the mag catch the “old fashioned way”, insert and test, remove, adjust and then reinsert mag (lather-rinse-repeat).
I dont know how to comment on live streams, I wanted to ask during yesterdays… Have you seen or have any experience with the new Sako quads being imported again??
Can someone answer my question? I have a new CZ 457 Varmit 20inch. The first 15 shots are all over the place, left, then right, up, down etc etc. After the barrel gets warm it shoots 1 inch groups at 100 yards, a tack driver. What does that mean?
@@PursuitofAccuracySpotted the left side bolt plug during your review. My XLR chassis has it as well. Have to admit it detracts from an otherwise premium product.
@@Latinrimfire72 yeah they are done in small batches. After talking to GCP after filming they are indeed made by just a few guys all in house. You wont be dissapointed
First of all the terms on what the chassis will cost me are up in the air.
