I have a 2023 Integra elite A spec with the manual. It’s a bit expensive for what you get but for me it was worth it the get the 6 speed manual transmission.
I average 7 to 7.5 litres per 100km in 90% city driving. I can easily get low 6 or high 5 litres per 100km when on the highway. I use 91 octane fuel.
It’s fun to drive and has enough space for a family of 4.

Excellent feedback thanks! Any other cars in your stable? Was AWD a consideration in your use case at all?

We have a 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness so we use that when we need AWD. I hit a moose in the Yukon with my old forester with a 6 speed manual so I had to resort to ordering one with a CVT…
I live in British Columbia so I only really see snow for 1-2 weeks out of the year unless I go into the mountains so FWD in the Integra works well here.

interesting that it didn't mention more detailed that one has CVT and the other a normal 6 automatic transmission, by that alone I think the Mazda wins easily, a single chain running by friction all the time to output your velocity in a car is big no no for me.

As an owner of many civics, imo, honda generally does a crappy job on seat comfort and support. I also own a cx30 and the seats are super
