- Romanian soprano Virginia Zeani sings "Si mi chiamano Mimi" from Puccini's "La Boheme" at Grand Teatro del Liceu, Barcelona on the 15th of November 1967. Her stage partner was Aragall.
I am amazed at the sound of her voice. Her voice is utter perfection! Since I've discovered her, thanks to Charlotte, I can't stop listening to her.
She has one of the most beautiful voices in history!
they say her voice carried so well it filled an opera house.
an old friend that introduced me to opera was a "groupie " back in the 60's she was his all time favorite.

Margot Fonteyn interpretò il ruolo di Giulietta quando aveva quasi cinquant'anni, però aveva la grazia, la leggerezza, il fare un po' malizioso di un'adolescente. Il commento intende che l'interpretazione vocale un po' "scurita" appesantisce Mimì.
