    I give the beginners in our group other tips.
    You have to do it with calculation and get to know the best decks as quickly as possible, thanks to the meta reports and build a solid T2 or T1 deck. Associated with this is a list of the most important or best cards per faction and those of the best neutral cards. You get every question answered, the rule of the 5, when you should pass or push and how you can get to your destination faster thanks to journey...
    Also which cards you can turn to scraps at the beginning and so on... In the group, we also make sure to recommend rather solid decks that have delivered well over months and could also be good next season, because nerfs often hit beginners harder. In two or three months they will be ready for the pro rank and their library contains the most important cards for each faction.

    I've never dedicated tons of time to Gwent, so it took me a little longer to build out my card collection. While I started with Scoia'tael, Playing Assimilate decks in Nilfgaard was honestly what kept me going while I worked on the other factions. It added so much variety to what I was playing. While I don't know if I'd say Nilfgaard should be every player's starting faction, it merits consideration for one of your first two regardless of your play style.

    After 3 months of playing gwent Im a pro rank with prestige 2 now, but my recommendation to those who are NEW and want to have an easy time climbing to ranks 10 bellow is:
    Start with NILFGARD. It might sound braindead or toxic but we cant deny the fact that people at the start just dont know how to counter it.
    So play NILFGARD and countinue playing different decks and try to unlock most of NG cards until you get the general idea of the other factions and then you can flex on them

    Just curious based on a statement in this video- do you think Gwent is better than Runeterra in terms of F2P? I play both quite a lot and have way more of my Runeterra collection done than Gwent.
    I love the excel link, really was looking for something like this. It does seem to be missing the Witcher trees and given that they give you a legendary for free, I wonder how that factors in.
    Thanks for the great video!

      yes, also you'll get scraps for duplicate cards and on reward trees , you can use those to craft your desired cards. if you want to copy a deck from gwent website when you click import deck it'll automatically craft the cards for you and create the deck in your game if have the scraps.

    Great video, appreciate the information. I gotta disagree with this being the most free to play friends CCG though. Don't get me wrong, this game definitely is one of the absolute best at it, but I think Legends of Runeterra is the most generous. It's the reason they are also sunsetting the PvP aspect, they gave away too many cards.

  • @lukatamadze

      Those are the cards that are given to you for free by CDPR. Change your viewing setting to view all cards then craft the premiums. It will cost both scraps and powder.

    Don't pick monsters, although it's one of the most beginner friendly factions to play, almost all of its meta decks have been hotfixed nerfed or the classic archetype decks just dont provide as much value as compared to the other faction archetypes

    • @sloppyslush9858
      @sloppyslush9858 2 года назад +1

      100% true. I'd say scoiatael or skellige is the best bet for new players. ST has so many archetypes you'll never get bored with it while SK has had some of the best engines in the game for a while now.
