it's really cool that they tend to link side quests together, I picked Merula to go with to the Celestial Ball and when I asked for some sympathy in potions class my character mentioned that he picked her for the ball and teased about how she secretly might want the note to be for her. Merula's reaction was priceless.

My impressions so far: When Snape reads my note: I picked "laugh it out", and my line was: "When Professor Snape reads it like that, even I have to laugh", and I was sitting behind the screen chortling like an idiot imagining Snape reading it monotonously and breaking off because he's so uncomfortable with anything related to love. Also I'm reminded of my own crush on Snape when I first joined the HP fandom, for a while I thought maybe dating Snape was not a bad idea. During the "study group": I was debating between Barnaby and Talbott so I was paying attention to how Barnaby was behaving towards me. In fact I was leaning towards Barnaby because he defended me once against an imperiused Rowan, and the only thing holding me back was that awkward situation with Ismelda and at that time I said that Barnaby was just a friend. But he failed to make an impression on me. Andre casually slipped in the remark that I should just tell him if my crush is him because we went to the celestial ball together... um, nope. During my one-on-one with Talbott: I always thought he's too much of the hiding in the corner licking his wounds type, like a porcupine with all its spikes -- even his hair looks spiky. But this encounter really confirms what Penny says, that he is more sensitive than he lets on. So yeah, Talbott is gaining on me. Chat with Bill: OH MY GOD BILL MY HEART IS BLEEDING! The game knows how much I wanted to date Bill, all my previous crush-related answers are all Bill, Bill, Bill, and now I don't have the option to date him. Instead I have to sit there convincing the crush of my first five years to give me hints on how to ask out my date -- don't you know that all I want is to use these hints on YOU? Final thoughts, this is all like a Bachelor episode, with group dates and one-on-one dates and slowing narrowing down choices until the final "would you accept this rose". Can't wait to see the later parts.

There's definitely a lot of event's on atm the last time that happened to me my game glitched and i couldn't play it for a few weeks im glad i didn't loose my progress like last time im catching up with year 5 atm.I'm glad there's another dueling event on i need to save up more books for the crup pup dragon and a unicorn 😊 im from the UK its almost midnight here but i enjoy staying up late will be definitely watching this side quest now its finally here ive been looking forward to this one 😊

Everything else was pretty much the same other then Barnaby in the library since I asked him to the Celestial Ball I don’t have those other side quests. I only have dueling and the dating one hmmmmm ....
I had to research more on this crushing it side quest & I found out you get it in year 5...🙁..I’m only on year 4 character 9..😩..I gotta wait a long time before I get there

Roy Knoops my MC is a girl as well, I had the side quests but they disappeared from the side quest screen but the great hall as well as the grand staircase still had the quest related stuff next to them

Can confirm it's different. I went to the celestial ball with Barnaby and he brought it up during the 'study group' part of the quest.
