the gasket isn't in place correctly after changing the battery. It's out of line on the left side. so the watch won't be water resistant. Hope it's yours and not of a customer🙈

What is that last adjustment for? When it says ‘Sub’... is it to adjust the smaller ring to basically 12? Pretty dramatic for a battery change.
All hands adjust to 12 position with sub
when you change the battery,is it still water resistant when you dive deep down the ocean?
Normally after changing the battery, water resistant become weak. But if you give new gasket it will be strong again .

It depends on. It's not necessary for all time. It's better to do most of the time.

Guess your watch has not been AC reset or you put a low quality battery in it.

You didn't put the seal correctly into it's crevice. This can compromise the watches water resistance. Fail.
