    Ikura Japanese Salmon Roe
Learn how to make ikura (fish eggs or roe), Gunkan style, for your Japanese bento box in this Howcast video with SushiSamba.
We are going to demonstrate you how to do . So is start cutting the strips of the nori. The ones we are going to wrap the rice with. He cut it, he's cutting it one inch wide. So is a type of sushi that we're going to use to put the so that it doesn't fall off. Now please. He watches the tip of his fingers.
So the rice doesn't get a sticky consistence. The sushi rice has been mixed a little bit with some solution of vinegar and sugar, so the PH goes down, and it doesn't any or anything bad. And then we don't want to our bodies. So two sushi rice balls. As you see he's wrapping it up with the nori sheets. The strips can make it like, kind of like, as we say, is the translation of in Japanese. This is kind of like the shape. This is the Ikura or Hamaro. He's using around one tablespoon of each for each . So this is how our Ikura . Enjoy.

i'm personally not a fan kf this sushi (the salmon taste is way too strong for me) but I love salmon nigiri and smaller fish eggs on sushi. I viewed this since I love how it looks.

T A it doesn’t have the same pop and taste to it, salmon roe is so much better but more expensive

It depends on what you like tbh they all taste slightly different. Smaller roe means more but smaller pops in your mouth and salmon is the opposite
