Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Ate my pizza and rubbing red paint off my tractor with rocks, friends like that are hard to come by these days 🤣
do you think he removed the welkers sign? lol
@@RockBrigadeCommunityForum the real question is... Has he found the hidden Welker sticker I stuck at his place...
Hey nick!
Welker Farms that’s how you break in a red tractor on the Johnson farm.
Well Nick... I'm sure you could have worked on their farm for a few days. Or do you think you might just intimidate Zack??? LOL
Can't wait for you Zach to demo a big Massey Ferguson tractor . Make grandpa proud. Lol
Thanks for the little one update,be safe trucking miss farming. Love the RED
Your dad is so laidback and sweet
I remember them days :-)
Farmers drive what ever company is around them and treats them well. Nothing more nothing less
We have a Deere dealer that's 10 miles away but they rarely have parts in stock. Our Case Dealer is 125 miles away and keep a good selection of parts in stock. We can usually drive the 4hr round trip or have the parts overnighted from the Case dealer quicker than our Deere dealer gets stuff in. We still run all brands and it's nice to get cultivator points etc that our Deere dealer does keep in stock in about 30 mins.
Erm i don't know any dealers here in the UK for tractors but i know theres a Caterpillar factory
Agreed

Your lucky to have Jim.
Suppose to be CASE !!!
What
I'm an old guy, I had David Brown tractors. No cab, no heating, no safety. I loved the life. These modern tractors are mind boggling! However, your place still sounds, looks and feels like a family place. That's what farming is, a family business, the best place to raise your kids. Respect Guys. Locked and Loaded.
Humility, honesty, hilarity. These factors are why I watch! Oh, and I always learn something new about farming.
Gotta like Jim !!!!
"Those Coyotes can't run faster than 2300 feet per second" - Laughed my tail off on that one! I'm a Welker Farms convert... now I'm hooked. Keep up the good sense of humor! Nice videos.

You hit on the most important part of equipment purchases, the dealer.
4:37 you missed a perfect "That's What She Said" opportunity.
Come On you're slacking hahaha.
Is that that part where they where talking about putting the master link in from the back lol
I noticed the video cut foward after it was said, I bet it was not a lost opportunity
I'm glad I'm not the only one paying attention.

I enjoy watching the Welker boys. I feel sorry for Leg Arms, I hope his arm heals alright.
We had an incident at our local elevator involving Soybeans. Our local fire department did not have the necessary equipment to make the rescue and had to wait for a team some miles away to bring that Equipment. As a result, there was a bad outcome. They now have that equipment and all Fire Departments with a farm district should have such equipment. You will save lives with your action.
Man that is one busy dude. I like how regardless of how busy he is, he still takes time to be with his kids.
Jim's awesome every farm needs a Jim
Just started eating lunch and a new red tractor appears on my screen.
That's a tractor? Oh...I wasn't sure🤔😂😂
... and then you puked?
What the heck is that thing?!

"Does he have to switch it (the master link) when he heads the other way?" LOL, It is good to keep a sense of humor when things go wrong. A sign of strong character. The deer acted like it was hit. Maybe sight in again? Good luck Onyx!
Those Quad Tracs are amazing machines and look great too! Everyone, get well soon! Take care and God Bless!

Love that red paint. Great video. Prayers for the little one.
Never did I even think this man would allow a case into his yard
watching these vids is a highlight to my day thanks for putting in the effort it shows.
Zack I think the red is telling you it’s time to get rid of the green combine haha 🤣
It great to see a young boy out there enjoying hunting just loving the outdoors
I'm sorry to see, Zach, that you've got to put up a sign for folks who just don't quite get that y'all live there and that while you bring us on your farm, it's still your farm and your place of living. Hope the sign helps.
He’s feeding the dog too much, needs to skip a few meals to keep it hungry, that should take care of the stockers.
What’s the time stamp of when he talks about it
@@samstephenson1888 he didnt talk about it that I heard. the sign is in his driveway you get glimpses of it when he’s leaving or pulling into the driveway. Sad really, people need to understand boundaries.
@@samstephenson1888 - you can see it about 9:47 - Zach's mentioned that people will stop at the road and take photos, but to come on to someone's property? Especially with Anna the Attack Dog?
There is a youtube vlogger who had a relationship with his longtime partner end because of the loss of privacy. Lost his home as a result. Now living in the back of a semi trailer. Fame comes with a cost.
Thanks Case IH for letting Zach try the quadtrack. And JD for the X9! Hopefully the increased exposure pays off.

How cool is that to have a red tractor!!! Also nice to hear what this farm had before the green ones!
Really appreciate your finding time to keep us updated in the midst of your busy harvest season.
If you still having trouble with the chain, check the sprockets for wear. Under load the chain can ride up the teeth causing the chain to tighten and putting extra stress on it. Just a thought from a old retired farmer.
Beyond being a great, transparent and wise farmer, what impressed me the most is that you are a good attentive father (and great son)! The greatest contribution in life is what we give of ourselves to our family! Let your wife know she is your top priority!
Thank you for an awesome channel!
Zach I gotta say..... seeing you work with your dad is .. well it’s priceless really
The best time to watch Your videos is when you’re in Texas doing fall tillage in an 8370R with the Bluetooth going
Man, i'm having flashbacks of working the farm with my Uncle and Grandfather. Everyone with an opinion, none with an answer. Miss those days lol
i miss working with my grand father on our far he passed last year but working on a farm gives so many fun and hard experiences
Papa Johnson: "can you get it in from the back?"
Me: *waiting for Zach to say "That's what she said!"*

Praying for Isla's recovery to go smoothly and quickly. Keep at it Onyx! They'll drop sooner or later. #freezerfriends
I love the background banter when you where putting on the chain.
Thanks for doing the videos even when you are so tired. Appreciate the efforts!
Love seeing Jim more in the videos! We need a segment called "updates with Jim" and have him film
That CaseIH is a beast. Nice of both Deere and CaseIH to lend the farm great demo equipment. Great video as always.

A good dealer is a godsend, a bad dealer could cost you your business whether trucking or farming. Stay safe guys
thank you Welkers .. great video
Glad to see the weather holding out. Nice to see Onyx in the blind. Always a plus when you release a video.
Zach....we need a "day in the life of Jim"...He's "mostly" always in a great mood.
Nothing runs like a Deere :) I was raised on "green" even tho we had Case for a couple yrs back in the 60's. And truthfully, it is as you said, it depends on the dealer. We had a good John Deere dealer :)
You're welcome Zack glad I could help you get cool things.
I'm sitting in a semi in a corn field watching you fix your combine while our combine is broke down too. What a coincidence haha
I was doing the same thing the other day setting line at elevator waiting to dump. Sure makes the time pass faster.
It's cool to see you and Nick do a video you both are great advocates for agriculture
You do a great job love watching your videos thanks for bringing your farming experience to the rest of us sir we appreciate it
Yet again another great video I looked forward to seeing keep em coming
Zack you are a gem of a narrator, and your wife is a sublime editor, assuming she is the culprit lol
Your enthusiasm, realism and mechanical knowledge and farming knowledge is incredible. Always enjoy watching your slice of life.
Red paint! We green boys won’t give you too much of a hard time! 😂Glad to hear Isla is doing better! Keep up the great work, we will do our part in North Carolina! 🇺🇸🚜🌾 #Keep the dust rolling!
I love John Deere but Case is one of my favorites too.
Amazing what your eyes can say about your health. Get well Zach!!!
I’m glad to see your son wanting to go hunting. I still to this day remember my first hunt my dad took me on. Bump him up to a 20 gauge. Remington makes an 870 youth edition and that was my first gun. Perfect size for him. Really light weight, little to no recoil and perfect for shooting a deer!
glad to see the Red tractor Zack
Best to you and yours....
Feel better quickly. Speedy recovery for Isla as well!
Keep your head up Onyx, we've all been there missing is a part of becoming a good hunter.
a few years ago i shot and hit a big buck and lost it. we saw bone fragments on the trail but couldnt find the deer. he'll get one i know it.
Quad track looks great!
Good to hear that your little girl is doing well.
I’m happy to here your daughter is doing well.
Maybe when things slow down, you could make a video about the grain bin rescue training activity? Useful thing for folks to see how it's done. Thanks for all you do.
Fascinating stuff, my friend! Such an awesome and different world you get to live in. I'm stuck in the city (Los Angeles), so this is the kind of lifestyle I dream about. Thanks for sharing your world, my man!
Great to hear both injury's are on the mend
Good for you be safe
I'm sorry Zack, but I laughed entirely too hard when that door came back and about got you in the noggin. Sorry for that! 😂🤣
Jim is a good guy to have around multiple talents like a farmer has to be at all times.
I like how much more Jim is on camera now!
@@chevyon37s Yes he's warmed up to it seems.
The Case Quad Tracks are excellent machines. You will be impressed.
That’s awesome you had a huge variety of tractors! Those whites though are a classic!!!
I had the same problem with my 4-10 when I was younger, bent barrel.
That’s an amazing tractor, it looks like tank threads.
“Hell yeah let’s go!” That’s an excited boy!
Zack, Thanks for Evverything you do, I really Appreciate it !!
It's Zach, not Zack.
🙄
When the door of the QuadTrac almost got you I was expecting some derogatory remark about red tractors.
The Larson farm broke their Case quad. One of the main beams on the track cracked in half, I think it was the rear right track, it happened when they were pulling a huge loader.
Thanks, Thomas Edison!
Glad to hear Isla is feeling better.... hope you get some sleep and feel better soon too
Love the vid keep up the great work
Man that red leather smells good...I just heard a chorus of Kermit's going ribbit...ribbit...RIBBIT...
Love the red tractors. We also had some green on the farm .....
My old neighbor has an oliver 1850 that he has a boom mower to mow the sides of the road... Love the old tractors.
Maybe you’re having an allergic reaction to the QuadTrac. The sore throat and QuadTrac did arrive at the same time 😂 Have to admit it looks pretty mean out in the field.
