    Post haste! I work with a family music store that is a G&L dealer and has been for years. i've wanted desperately for you guys to produce some amazing stuff to not only express the unmatchable heritage but also the exciting things that your guys are currently producing! Keep them coming and so us die hards can spread the G&L gospel!

    Excellent video. We had been dealers of G&L guitars for about 10 years. We own a music store in New Orleans. New Orleans Music Exchange. They are the finest instruments ever. I love my G&L Legacy with the Leo Fender signature (Tele style)
    I love the way it sounds.

    Makes perfect sense to me...I have a 1993 Legacy (clear red premier finish) in my stable. I did not even consider a Strat when I was looking for the sound when some gigs needed the "Strat quack".

    It’s a shame G&L guitars cant be sold by the same vendors as Fenders are sold. I have both and don’t really know which one I prefer. The G&L is definitely a higher quality instrument.

    You know what is strange? That nobody ever made and recorded an interview with Leo. I mean, the man became 91 years old so it seams there was plenty of time?

    Calculating with inflation, 165 bucks in 1957 equals to $1326.99 today.

    I love my G&L Tely! It's not as attractive as the original (pickups, headstock) but it sounds better and plays better.

    I noticed a pattern everyone who plays g and l don't really like fender and everyone who plays fender love it in my opinion they really aren't that different probably the biggest differences are that Fender are more well known so they hold their value more, but on terms of value they are pretty comprable

    G&L's are REAL Fenders, if that makes any sense.

      Apparently, by reading some of the comments here it only makes sense to musicians that are looking for the best quality product and tone, and playabiity, quality, etc. Others only bitch about a logo....that's quite pathetic. Signed, an owner of numerous Fender Strats. My fave axe is my G&L Tele....no comparison.

    okay so im just a kid but even I know that the g&l tele is awesome maybe better than the fender, it doesn't look as snazzy but who cares it is my favourite guitar ive ever played and has a great neck and great pickups

    • @nicestrat
      @nicestrat 7 лет назад

      What part doesn't look as "snazzy"? The tiny extra curve in the headstock? LOL....omg....wtf?

  • @toddelsliger

    I love the sound/feel/ergonomics of a strat. G&L strats are fantastic, but the lettering/font on the headstocks of G&Ls drives me crazy. The logo itself is too bold and stark; the font for "legacy, asat" etc. is hideous. G&Ls feel great but the headstocks make them look cheap. Shaving a 1/3 inch off the tip of the headstock would also help to balance the look. Just my humble opinion, but compared to fender, the quality is there, the refined classic look is not. A shame.

      I bet Eric Clapton wears whatever shoes he likes and doesn't worry if there's a Nike "swoosh" or not.....
