These are TV quality programmes 👍
100~%~ agree
With today's technology, we are all capable of such quality videos.
Hi Freddie, Matthias from Germany. Recently I have seen so many of your Videos and they have impressed me a lot. Three weeks ago I bought a brand new Bonneville t 100 and your Videos gave me the dot of the i to do this. And I'm so glad, so proud and so happy for this fantastic bike.
The beautiful ride you made in this Video, I have done in eastern 2011 with my 660 ténéré and I almost remember every place you are going through!
So thank you so much for all your Videos, for your influence, for giving me back this holy freedom feeling to be on the roads of great Britain!
Greetings from Germany 👍🥰
Exquisite, the gods smiled on you for this one, immaculate sea views, one could almost feel it, the clouds, the peaceful
nature of it all, the gentle rumble of the bike, and the music choice, perfect for this journey, enjoyed this part of
Cornwall very much. Thank you Freddie.
Excellent road, a favourite for us in the far southwest. Good filming and editing too. Choice of bike - oh dear....
We are blessed with a beautiful island, Cornwall, Wales, Scotland, Lake District etc. etc. etc.
Hi from Australia. I was there in 2010 and drove that road. Thanks for the memories.
I’ve always found the St Ives to Lands End Road quite magical, it’s a gorgeous drive back in time but also fascinating knowing you’re approaching the end of the country. We often do it when there but we walk on Sennan beach rather than visit the ‘theme park’. The sand on Sennan is exactly like on the Scilly Isles. Love the colour of the Pub you stopped at. We had an excellent Sunday roast in another Pub (The Radjel Inn!) on the road a few yrs back.
This is what attracts me most to your posts:
Tasteful Bikes and awesome UK scenarios, both beautifully edited! :)))
It is amazing! I love your comment about the lack of traffic, try it in August!
Very nice video, Freddy and Monika! I really like the guitar music in the last few minutes. Actually, all the music is great, as is the filming and editing.
Don’t forget the A39 Atlantic highway, fast sweeping road with coastal stops like Boscastle and Bude, we get lots of bikers on the wharf here 👊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
I know that route well. I had some deaths in my family a couple years ago and I rode this route when I felt better. It was very emotional riding that road by myself.
Beautiful part of the UK Freddy, nice to see you enjoying the Harley. Enjoyed this little series, ✌️🇬🇧
i am impressed by how green and so CLEAN it is everywhere you look.
It is Absolutely beautiful here in our Beautiful County of Cornwall, I live 5 minutes away from St Michael’s Mount in the West. Driven the St Ives to Land’s End many many times. It is Just Stunning, So many beautiful places to Visit.
Wow. What a spectacular costal ride. What scenery....
*There are people who get to see these views every day.*
And in a strange twist of fate, many lose the ability to appreciate them fully.
Your pronouncian is the way the English language should be spoken!
Top Gear for bikes, w/ one, w/ calm. What a channel!
Sincerely, a german car/porsche guy.
Ha, ha. I've used the IoS Skybus Twin Otters many a time. Never heard of them being compared to 1930's planes 😂
The shots of the sea and the cliffs is stunning. Great video. A few drone shots would have put this video over the top! You are a great producer with the way you tell a story through the images. A one person crew putting out such high quality videos. Amazing!
I did that route from St Ives to Lands End at the beginning of September on my RE Himalayan, having got my bike licence one month earlier. The weather was glorious, and it really is a terrific route.
I’ve now just got back from a 1989 mile trip from Bristol to Newcastle, Newcastle to Inverness, Inverness up around the north west coast of Scotland then on to John o Groats (1st 3 days). Then down through the highlands to Stirling, Stirling to Ludlow, then Ludlow to Lands End (2nd 3 days). Finally Lands End to Helston, St Austell, then Plymouth, and finally across Dartmoor then back up the A38 to Bristol (last 2 days). 8 days in all. A fantastic trip, and I only got soaked to the the skin on three of the 8 days 😊.
Oh yeah…. The Himalayan was brilliant too.
Ps. Love your vids Freddie…keep em coming.
Great video Freddie. Your in danger of turning into million dollar bogan. Standing on a rock out of breath and obviously riding the harley.
Your inspiring me to get back on the bike this year. 😬
When the wife and I did our driving tour of England and Scotland Cornwall was our first stop and we stayed in Falmouth at the Falmouth Hotel, and of course went to Port Isaac and Lands Inn and as much as we could in between, but we only had a couple days, next trip we’re planning at least a week in Cornwall, it is Gods Country.
Myttin Da' Stunning day for the trip and yes what a road, you'd been to early for the Summer Double decker bus on the road..!
On from the Gurnard, most unusual local Zennor The Tinners Arms and Pendeen The Radjel Inn, equally nice was Botallack The Queen's Arms for a good meal..
Had time permitted Cape Cornwall and explore St Juusstt.. Sennon Cove has an incredible Beach.. you can take the Coast Path into Lands End.. which really is a hyped Tourist trap..
If the B3315 back, turn down for Lamorna Cove, if not to the Cove, turn left almost back on oneself before The Wink..follow on an take left at T, then right Raginnis Hill takes you into Mousehole.. Stunning, done both routes a few times with visiting Friends when I lived in Penzance.. See thee directly.. 😁
One of my favourite things when we go down there in the summer is to watch the sun setting from the cliff top at Gwenver. Usually, because having dragged everything up from the beach you are so knackered you have to stop, but it is spectacular.
I live 20 seconds away from the start of this road.. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve ridden it on my Harley, incredible road , super lucky to have it on my doorstep !
Another great video Freddie. You might enjoy a trip to the Minack Theatre. The story behind the building of it as well as the scenery from it are remarkable. You dont need to watch a production to enjoy the ambience either.
Fred .... the "old fashioned 1930's aircraft" is a DH-6 Twin Otter it's probably only a few years old, built by de Havilland in Canada, they fly out daily to the Scilly Isles. 😁
First produced in 1965 the Twin Otter, or as pilots call it, the Twatter, is once again in production after about a 20 year hiatus. Being powered by the Pratt&Whitney PT-6, one of the best turboprop engines ever, has given it an amazing reputation. I used to see them on floats when I worked in Alaska.
As for the ACs, those looked like the 427 Cobra. With genuine original Cobras selling for over a million dollars each I’m going to guess that those are replicas. Most replica Cobras are actually better cars than the originals but it’s almost like having a photoshopped Mona Lisa.
Typical Freddie gaff!
@@neilurquhart8622ooh ark at you 😂
Certainly a beautiful county, some of your shots looked like paintings. I've made a number of camping trips to the area. Out of the two peninsulas I actually prefer the Lizard: it's a bit wilder, a bit more hippy-ish. The first time I saw the Goonhilly Earth Station I thought I'd stumbled across a Hollywood film set. Could be a good trip for you and your new best friend!
Well, that's a part of the world I've not seen since I was a kid. Good old St. Ives. 😁
You dress like it's full summer ☀️. It was 6c today in Northern Ireland.! Even if the sun's out, it's blooming freezing.
Strange as I was in Belfast today and after a dreary start it got quite warm ((for NI) and very sunny (again for NI)
This road has often been voted in various top ten drives in Britain and Europe.
Biked it, cycled it and driven it numerous times at all times of the year.
Never once been disappointed.
Usually make a point of finishing by driving down to, then walking up onto Cape Cornwall.
Just don't tell any other bugger what a joy it is.
Let's keep it a secret and unspoiled.
Thanks for that Freddie, it's grey skies and rain again in the North West of England and I'm bloody fed up of it 😬, but this video is just what I needed today, that road and the blue sea and skies, and the background track , has refreshed my mood, excellent stuff! 🙌👌
Cheers Mel 🍻
Me and my partner moved to Pendeen from Kent last August, which is along that fantastic coastal route. In fact, you'd have ridden past our house.
Riding that route on a nice evening when it's quiet is one of my absolute favourite things to do!
Happy riding Freddie!
What a fantastic ride, I’m loving these videos. Can we see Monica and the dog please, before you go home??
Monika & Basil definitely deserve to be seen. There again I’m biased!!
@@rjdobbs Your son is very entertaining, he must have been fun as a child too…
Wow, you were not kidding. Spectacular scenery. I don’t know if it is you Freddie or a Monica who does the editing of the videos. But who ever it is. You sure do pick some incredible music to accompany the video footage
Really glad you enjoyed it Freddie. I was one of those who recommended it. I got a new bike (Triumph Bobber) last week and as I live down the road was able to take it out on that route for my first ride.
Lovely video and great music. If we had reliable weather we wouldn’t have to leave the country!
You really have been lucky with the weather, the first time we’ve had more than 3 days dryness since October. I took a day of work tomorrow (Friday 26th) to take my bike for a service and MOT at Cornwall Kawasaki which is at Lanner, located between Ponsanooth and Redruth on the A393. But it looks like it’s going to be very, very wet so that’ll be a washout. They even called me today to say I’ve got a long way to come so they’ll happily reschedule if I want. It’s a great little bike shop if you get the chance to visit. So instead, I’ll be tinkering around in the garage with my other bike which is an ongoing project.
That sky could be a Bob Ross painting.
Nice one Freddie, spectacular ride, fantastic sea views. Exactly the best kind of vlog. Thank you 😊
Back to 2005 I visited Eden Biosfera for professional reasons, this is the place of dreams.... great quality motovlog all the way!
Very atmospheric in poorer weather too. I know Lands End has to be done (once) but Cape Cornwall much better. Great cafes in St Just. Thanks Freddie, just hope you haven't made the route too popular😃!
Yes… Most of the finest places in the US have been ruined by overpopulation. It’s one of the dark sides of social media. The word gets out, and that spell the end of our beautiful places.
The best road in my opinion, my mum and dad live in Porthtowan, from there to lands end on a Sunday is a blast, you just got to remember the corners!
Your content is so good, you should have x10 the number of views - keep up the great work, really enjoyed this one.
Enjoyed that Freddie, I was at Land's End in 1984, just turned up there while on a weeks holiday in Cornwall and was surprised that they wanted to charge me a fee for visiting, I only wanted a photo nothing more, money was tight at the time with the wife being pregnant so I did a red faced 'U' turn in my Renault Fuego GTX causing a bit of a congestion, I can see it's a lot more commercialised today. Ride safe.
The plane you mention is very much a modern 21st C craft..flying from Land's End or Exeter to the Scilly Isles. It is a Skybus De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter and carries 19 passengers....FYI !
That's a great video Freddie, I really appreciate all the work you must to put these together. As a local I first found this road about 47 years ago, I think it was on a Suzuki GT550 2 stroke. Ive loved it ever since. Im not local now but still often go to Cornwall and still take a trip down this road. I often stop just to listen to perfect quiet, and take in the scenery, bliss. Its definitely not a road for speed, take it easy and enjoy it.
Stunning Freddie…
On the way back if you can stop in Plymouth in Lisbon bakery coffee(closed every Sunday) try the amazing custard’s and a nice espresso, than go to Chedar and George cliffs and then pass in Exeter to have a drink on the rendezvous wine bar. And would be a perfect day 😊
Freddie, this is superb!
So makes me want to visit England. Then I remember I live here.
Catch Cornwall on a sunny day out of season and there’s nowhere better - except Devon of course! 👍
I got my brakes so hot they let go on the last section from St ives back way into Penzace. Used to do it once a week on a Divvy6. Trip down memory lane for me thanks!
I hope you enjoyed the ride Freddie this road you went on is probably the best one for riding a bike
Cracked it again Freddie well done
Last year February we were there windy Cold gray but beautiful 😍
Just stunning and may I say well filmed
I personally have been blessed to have the B3306 (or the “south freedom road”) every day as a playground and congrats on a film that represents what it’s like to ride here so beautifully..✌️
I’m looking forward to riding the B3306 as part of my LEJOG trip in June.
Great to get an early insight into that part of the journey down to the Lands End start.
Des
Freddie, this is one of your very best episodes! The Vibe, the Music, the Views, the Bike... Just perfection while i wait for the weather to clear up to start my own trip!
I wonder, if you like the classics, if you would ever try out the Honda XRV 750 AfricaTwin? (would recommend the ´93 Model) . Since you loved the old Transalp i´m sure you like that one even more!
Thank you so much, David🙌🏻 I love the look of the old Africa Twins, and this era you mentioned is my favourite (from an aesthetics point of view, at least😍).
Great vid nice ride GREAT TUNES😎🇨🇦
I especially appreciate how well you presented this piece of England here. I did not expect that. Thank you because it was really great material for a foreigner like me 👍
Freddie, I see you didn’t fasten your helmet up again!! Come on set an example!!
Great video as usual though, always love your content.
That bike has truck tyres !! Beautiful place Cornwall the whole of England ,it’s just full 🤣😂 ride safe 💪🏼
Cornwall has a special feel about.
Great video Freddie, on days where I can't get my bike out (Chrome Triumph Bobber which I'm absolutely obsessed with) it's always a joy to experience a trip like this vicariously through your videos. If you ever fancy a trip out to Cyprus we've got some great roads here :)
You guys are leaving everyone behind … what a beautiful evocative watch from wonderful Cornwall… don’t stop these travel vlogs, guys…I ache in the nicest way for a road trip soon… 🤗🤗🤗🌈
Will be doing this road today with a friend who lives in St Just.
Glad your loving it. Live here, so ridden the very road and been in the yellow pub, quite famous
Great video, a lovely part of the UK for good weather and good roads too, you seem to be really enjoying the Harley
Hit pause at 16:24 and just kept that on my screen most of the day...thanks for the spectacular journey.
Freddie, you should plan a trip to the States. You would so enjoy the Pacific coast . We would love to have you as guest.
i miss englands scenery although we have beautiful scenery in new zealand we dont have much history with old pubs and cottages. Cornwall has a rugged coastline and i didnt see many cars on the road either
It is a road to be savoured, not attacked. More fun on an Enfield Classic than a Fireblade.
“I definitely feel like I’ve been on holiday today”. Freddie, you’re on holiday every day 😂
Great music and filmwork. Boston paul
Thanks Paul🙌🏻
Beautiful as always!👍
I was riding that road this morning and a walk along the coast path near Gurnards Head. You've been lucky with the weather and picked the right(quiet) time of year for it. It's been beautiful since the rain stopped!
Beautiful scenery, so peaceful, just the freash cool wind in your face, a great bike.....what else could you ask for? It is heaven.
Nice one Freddie. Glad I helped suggest this one! I also ride this route in all weather and seasons, and can attest to the local boy you spoke to about it being incredible every time. I never tire of it.
WOW!! I'm only 5 mins 16 seconds in, fantastic vistas 😍🤩.
Thanks for sharing and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤙 🤟
Great video mate - view of the sea was lovely
Hi from under the GREY blanket of sky that has been with us for seems like an eternity, your so lucky to find the colour blue in the sky looks amazing, great road to, enjoy it.
Yes I believe we do live in the most beautiful country...I drive on these style roads for work each day.. its pure therapy
Spectacular scenery..
This was the best video of your Cornish series so far, and that guy was right about the beauty and magic of the route. So glad the weather smiled on you that day. All the miles you put in on bikes when it's slashing with rain and poor visibilty, this is your pay-back. I know when you're filming your getaways, i.e. when you're pulling away on any bike. You're probably in a hurry to secure the footage and clear out of the static shot. But firing-up the motor, especially a big old lump like a Harley then stamping it into gear before the revs have had a chance to die down makes me wince. It should only take a second or two for the revs to settle. Then selecting first gear shouldn't elicit such a mechanically challenged crunch! Just saying.
Makes me homesick for my fave holiday destination ❤❤❤
And the cars in the car park at the end...........
Beautifully filmed & just enough commentary.
Ah, I love that part of the country, going to St Ives in July, will be doing that route down to Lands End, but sadly not on a cool bike, but in my Hyundai i10! Could be different next year when I hopefully pass my CBT in a week or so, then A2 sometime after that, and take a Royal Enfield Interceptor down there! Great video as always Freddie!
I think you have the finest, most historic scenery and roads to ride on in the world....another excellent video...
Excellent filming & editing, well done Freddie and Monika. Great that you got a fine day before the busier holidays season
Wow !!!
Well done Freddie,
Verry nice vid. !!!
Very similar coastal scenery to southwest Portugal. Nice jacket. Nick
love that part of Cornwall, my Brothee moved Kennack Sands on the South coast of Lizard and we bought a static van there 12 years ago. We ride the Endield around the quiet roads and lanes out of season and its glorious
Looking forward to this one
Great ride again. This is what I visualize when I think about riding in England and the rest of the UK. I really am going to have to get my ass over there to ride a few weeks, although riding on the wrong side of the road still looks weird.
Done this trip more times than I can remember. Absolutely fantastic.
Great video! Love riding in Cornwall. We often ride the Atlantic Highway (off season best) from Bude down to Lands End. The Rose Peninsular is a nice ride too if you get a chance to go over that way.
Thanks for this Freddie, you have really hit the nail on the head with this one. Idyllic scenery, bob on music with the bob on bike, what a superb combo.
How is Bob these days? Not seen him in ages
@@albundy643 Doing just fine thanks 👍
@@mum-0217 Good to hear that. What a great guy. 👍
Beautiful and brilliant road that Freddie 👍
Thanks Freddie really enjoyed this, plus some music for the driving playlist too👍
