Hello! How is the reliability after 4 years after the remap? Did you have any problems? I'm considering doing a remap on my CC 2.0 140 hp also. Thank you
usually when doing a remap/stage 1 your consumption will go higher up to 2 l/100 km . But it matter the most how fast you re going with your car. If you re going regular like you were when your car was stock your consumption will be the same .Perhaps -0.5 l /100km
CR engines are internally equal, the difference between the 143 and 170 engine is a slightly bigger turbo. Nothing more. Even the clutch is the same between 120, 143 and 170 engines, with 400nm clutch limit. So it handles remaps very good.
Ricardo Bárrios Untrue, CFFB 140 and CFGB 170... Both engines ARE indenticle, block, pistons conrods and injectors( 03L 130 277 J) . The turbo indeed is different. Has a different part number for a start. I put a 170 turbo on my 140 and had them side by side beforehand. At first glance they look similiar in size but the compressor housing is thicker and has better airflow, probably has a bigger compressor wheel. Also the the turbo plastic outlet pipe is different too. The only other differences are is the water pump has a different part number and the clutch and flywheel is different. The main engine is the same.. Cooling system and intercooler system are also the same...
You also have different injectors..the 170hp has siemens injectors and they sometimes give you some headaches..usually the 140hp is a bit more reliable but they are both great engines if you take care of them
Top Speed?

This cc is 1489 kg.....the difference is 139 kg.....your engine 2,2 this 2.0.....same performance...nice......
Is this remap safe for the engine ? Because it has to handle larger power. And does it affect the life of the engine, mileage, cause wear and tear ?
