Yeah it'd be an real stunner in the 80s, possibly enough to make the person forget that the video is about a game.

I got my Steam Deck about 2 months ago and I can't stop playing it! I love this device, the ergonomic design, the great performance in games, the fact that I have my whole Steam Libary portable, cloud saves... Is so good! The fact that Ratchet and Clank runs so good on the Deck just shows how far we have come when it comes to portable gaming and it also shows the age of the Nintendo Switch, let's hope Nintendo soon announces is successor.
The Switch 2 will be worthless garbage compared to the Steam Deck OLED

If you use cryo utils it runs even better. Especially with overclcoking but even fine without it. Cryo utils is the main thing

1600x900 resolution on Deck and locked & targeted 30fps is good option for even better graphics
Especially if you're outputting to a 1080p display when docked.

@@retro_ed746 Well, yeah. There's no way to set the game to change resolutions based on what display you're using, so you need to use it at all times anyway.

Display is 1280x800 agree, yes.
You can still render image internally higher resolution. Up to 4K.
Option is under game Properties.
Remember tick option box for both internal and external display.
Sometimes option box is not visible so go back and forth in menus.
This is per game settings...
@retro_ed746 Yes, I know. What I said is that there's no way to set a game to render at one resolution in handheld, and another resolution when docked, like with the Switch.
Looks awful at 720p fsr2 performance, i prefer 30fps with better IQ
Run game with 1600x900 30fps
Intel should let AMD get access to the _real_ XeSS version available on Intel GPUs. even if just on RDNA3 and it's machine learning accelerators.
The Steam Deck is the most exciting console this generation.

@@mag3slay4 There's nothing wrong with people having different tastes. I personally don't think 4k is that impressive compared to 1080p on a TV from 10ft away. So I play PC games at 1080p on a TV. It's not like the jump from 480p to 1080p, that was an obvious leap. I also don't think the current consoles are that impressive when compared to the One X and Pro.
Folks I get that you’re playing catch up with the video uploads, but be considerate of my timeline. You guys could upload 1 video per day instead of 2+. I know you have the luxury of an already existing audience but if you’re wanting to expand said audience, you’re going the wrong way about it. The algorithm likes consistency; as in same day+time each week. Not twice a day every day. 😂
