      @@KristinesDay what a coincidence! 😅 I’ll definitely still be watching that haha.
      Also unrelated, but I have a question. I have a pattern for a small bird that would fit inside of a granny square but I’ve been stumped for days trying to actually design the granny square around it, because of the odd shape of the bird.
      Would you have any advice for working a square around such an odd shape?
      If needed I can write out the pattern (only if you wanted to mess around with it of course) for the bird. It’s a very short and simple pattern though
      have a great day!

    Hey thank you so much for the pattern. I have done a few leafs already but they are always curling up. Yours look so flat. Any tips on how to get there? Do you make the first chains very loose or how does it work for you? Thank you 😊

    • @elig7087
      @elig7087 Месяц назад +2

      I made this recently, and mind turned out flat! I would check to make sure the yarn you're using is the right kind, and that you're not pulling too hard when you make a stitch. I do everything pretty loose, and tighten up after if needed.

      Because these plants grow to be like 40ft tall with leaves that can reach up to about 4ft in diameter... they are MONSTEROUS.
      Plants are often named in Latin, so looking at it from that point of view it just means it's very big.
