- Stones can hide incredible potential if you look at them differently. In this video, I’ll share how I discovered a unique stone in the forest and decided to turn it into a one-of-a-kind sink. You’ll see the entire process: from finding the stone to the finished piece. Careful craftsmanship preserved the natural texture, transforming a simple material into a true work of art. Discover how nature and handmade artistry come together to create something extraordinary!
First of all, I love rocks. I tumble fist size and up. I have two field trips coming up. January, I'm going to Quartzsite, AZ for the big rock show. Then in May, I'll be headed for Keweenaw Peninsula on Lake Michigan. I just started watching your videos with great interest. I would like to make some bowls. I have my grandfather's rock chisels. I would need a angle grinder, air and safety equipment. Any tips to help make me be successful? I may had missed it, but what type of rock did you use? It looks like marble? Thanks. Look forward to enjoying your upcoming
videos.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it. When you start making a bowl, the stone itself should guide you on what shape to make it. Also, you shouldn't put too much pressure on the angle grinder. I will soon record a video with detailed instructions.
