Don't quit your job until you have 2 years of current expenses and have been trading consistently for 1 year.
That is my thought exactly. 6 months of expenses is nothing. Don’t be stupid people. Prove consistent profitability FIRST, then have 2 years worth of expenses saved, and THEN go full time.

Very true, people downplay advisors role, until burnt by their mistakes. So true, when I did this some years ago BPF (before prop firms lol) exactly the things in this video came true. I had a major battle to keep my account positive as I was so desperate to make enough to pay incoming bills and in the end I ended up working on the side again so I could build some savings to not have to rely on profits. That was what solidified profitabiliity for me. A 6 month buffer is great advice. 2 years even better lol. Having said that it was beneficial for my trading psychology because once I had a buffer I was totally unemotional with every trade. Going full time with no buffer did that to me lol.
Don’t got to tell me twice. It’s hell being a full time trader with no buffer

I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? I’d love to retire with at least $2million savings. Now you gotta rely on a pretty good diversification if you must stay green. Currently up 31% and being cautious. Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 5% interest
Pls what advise can you give to someone that always got distracted with High school activities and decided to take a break and transit to full time trading to focus and become profitable, then start over with high school (university) again.

I bought account in prop firm, no minimum tradings days,, i wish as soon as posible i can pass the challenge, and be consistent profitable like you,
