      Ok so what's the point of your question? If you like doing bad things to people and you like them hating you then leave it like that lol, but it seems like you want to become a better person. Well then start off with not doing bad things anymore, tell people you know in real life about it, you'll see that them caring about you is better than them hating you, I personally know the way you feel (don't ask how) and if you want to become a better person, you should learn how to actually love people and life
      If you don't use this that's fine too not trying to start a war ok

    My counselor taught me those "grounding" exercises, where you pay attention to how both of your feet feel on the ground. She told me to do this because I was getting anxiety from negative thoughts. My counselor also told me that, in times when I feel anxious, I could look around at my surroundings and describe everything that I see. This brings a person back to the present moment, focusing something in "real" time; because what Douglas Bloch always says, "The future isn't real, it hasn't happened yet." 💕

    There are sometimes when these negative thoughts just put me in a "little panic attack" situation where I just can't feel comfortable anywhere inside the house. If I stay inside a room for too long, this situation only gets more intense and even more intense if the room is dark. It also makes time feel like it's slowed down so I get more stressed thinking this situation is never going to end, but there are some times where time feels like it goes too fast so I get worried about wasting my time and feel like the walls are narrowing down and it makes me want to cry for no apparent reason. It's even more stressful at night but it tends to go away by morning.

      @@nehaakhadmal139 yes. Depression has taught me patience and you always end up happier than ever when it’s finished. You learn to not worry about what others think so much because the negative thoughts are overwhelming enough. Just like after you have a really migraine and it goes away.
      Depression is an imposter that takes over the body and the mind and distorts the functioning and people say to get help but it’s not that simple. Sometimes we want the world to understand how hard it is to not have motivation to great things.
      Like if you have cancer for example it’s not guaranteed you get better. Depression is a mental illness not a mood.

      @jaijai4710 3 месяца назад

      Thank you! @@jpbart1390, for that number six I'll try to prove to you (I'm a Christian, so its about the Bible)
      1. the Bible is historically accurate, (it's context mentioning Babylonians, Romans, Egyptians, Israelites, etc.), you can look it up for further research.
      2. Evidences that are observed from believers or Christians saying that they've been healed, "restored", receiving "blessings" and "miracles" which also happened a lot in the stories of the Bible. If Christians never experienced supernatural events, they wouldn't believe.
      3. Christianity is different from other beliefs/religions. The Bible emphasizes countless times that Christianity is a relationship to God, not a religion. Religion is having a set of traditional rules that you need to follow for you to go to heaven (such as chants, practices, having "do this and do that"). God in the Bible doesn't require us of anything because he knows our abilities are limited, the bible emphasizes he just wants us to follow and trust him. Choosing heaven or hell is a choice, not something we have to achieve.

    • @jaijai4710
      @jaijai4710 3 месяца назад

      @@jpbart1390 ultimately Christians believe in God because they experienced Christ themselves in their lives.
      Additional evidence is I too did experience healing, miracles and strange coincidences when I started asking help from God and praying to Him. My life inwardly changed compared to my old life, when I didn't have a relationship with Him.

    I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make anends be happy for them.

    Today I talked to a girl at my workplace and when I got home instantly bad thoughts appeared in my head. How did I appeared? Was I weird or rude? Then I instantly told myself that I’m probably just making these things up in my head and she probably thinks good at me. Just a few months ago my head would literally explode bc I wouldn’t stop thinking about stuff like this. Sometimes thinking less is better than breaking your head about something and I just learned this.

    I am terrible for black and white thinking and cognitive distortions, especially when people don't reply to my message...it makes me think they don't want to talk to me when I see they've read my message but don't reply and I can get very upset. Despite trying to convince myself it's not true, my distorted thoughts seem stronger than me. Being an INFJ I am very sensitive to other peoples comments and behaviours towards me, which is typical of that personality. I am trying very hard to get less sensitive. I always repeat a phrase to myself saying "you control your thoughts, not your thoughts control you". Wishing everyone reading this the very best of wishes! 🙃

Because of what happened to me growing up, it has been a constant war. It also helps to have someone to talk to (someone with a great listening ear, a closed mouth, and a non judgemental personality), but at the moment i dont have that. Hypochondriacs experience extreme anxiety from the bodily responses most people take for granted.) So I kinda deal with negative thoughts often but it usually spirals to over thinking. So, I have had similar experiences before. I used to be very sleep-deprived, could not sleep for hours. I cried in fear that something about me was wrong, that I had a rare disorder or something like that. What really helped me is meditation. Whenever these thoughts come up, do breathing exercises and try to clear your mind and be in the present. Look at the thoughts you have, reflect them. Does it really make sense? Are the symptoms really that serious? Is this fear reasonable? I still have these thoughts sometimes (although about different topics) but meditation really helped me pushing them down.
      I hope I could help you

    What's important to mention is how these mindsets have to be enforced by willpower for a while until your mind applies these things automatically. Something I learned in depression treatment is to question these "automatic" negative thoughts and reframing them for a long time until they appear less often.

      A zudra, Reduce negative thoughts. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, at office, in school, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

    It's normal to have negative thoughts, but if it gets in the way of your daily life then it becomes a problem. Luckily there are videos like this, online resources and professional help to get us through it. My therapist said that these methods wont dissolve negative thoughts overnight, but with constant practice of training your mind to think more positively and a lil *self care* will go a long way. And eventually these unhelpful thoughts will be significantly reduced and will make our lives much easier! ❤

    The one piece of advice I'd love to share about the negative self talk... just remember. You're 100 percent maybe some else's 500. Or someone else's 50. Just do the best you can. If you feel you put 100 and it's not enough, it's not you. If you feel over worked, and stretched too thin...but it's not enough and everyone tells you it's more then enough, relax.
