I began watching your channel at the ripe age of 12. Your videos taught me some of the basic principles of writing and aided in motivating me to start my first novel! Fast forward 4 years, and I am now a high school student taking college classes and working on the 2ND DRAFT of that very book. While a total rewrite will be needed from the first draft of this novel (hence the age I wrote it), it is partially because of you that I wrote a full length Sci-Fi novel by the time I finished my first year of high school. They said a good book can take more than a year to write- especially if it's a good book- especiallecially if you're new at it. So that was five years ago and it's up to five books in progress :p I've enjoyed listening to your videos. Thanx :)

I totally get the outlining books spiel. Personally, I love Save the Cat for it's straightforward...ness because I have the tendency to overthink and get overwhelmed by the more complicated ones. I'm simple.
Anytime I have a weird dream I jot it down on a pad next to my bed and see if it can be connected to my story. Sometimes my subconscious fixes what I can't fix awake. Or at least add a twist to my story I hadn't thought of awake. I love that you dress for mood enhancement for your book. I put things around my desk and bulletin board that would belong to my protagonist.
Hi, Vivien. 😊👋I'm supposed to be participating in CampNaNoWriMo too, but it hasn't gone too well so far. Hence, procrastination and tiredness from work. I'm writing a short story and my goal is 10k, but I haven't locked in any words during week 1. Trying to get some words in tonight. I need to write at least 500 each day the rest of the month to reach my word count goal.
You can do it! I hear you on being tired. I wanted to make it a game to see who could correctly guess how many times I say some variation of "tired" in my video 😂 It definitely makes writing so much harder. But I believe in you!
I love the idea of writing backwards. Never done it before. I'll try anything once. Lol Totally get you on being tired. Combination of motherhood and burning the candle at both ends. 😊 Anyway, love the content - really enjoy your vlogs.
