First Ice fishing for Bluegill (This color works!)

This is from Early Ice last December. Bluegill were schooled up on some brushpiles, so I used an underwater camera (aquavu) to setup on the side of the brushpile. I used the RED eurotackle plankton to put some bluegill and a crappie on the ice. More ice fishing videos to come for the 2023 - 2024 season!

Get yourself a Ketch 16 inch bump board, your life will be much easier when trying to measure fish. Thank you for throwing the bigger ones back, most ppl don't realize that a bluegill grows 1 inch a year and a 9 or 10 incher is close to trophy size
