    How come the heat pressed image/color isn't going onto your stitched edges? Are you doing anything in particular to make that happen?

      I think It might be either A: because it's not a polyester material in the stitching, or B: blacks usually don't sublimate well

      Hello! We would recommend to pre press the mousepad prior to make sure all parts of the mat are flat.

      Hello! Are you removing the transfer paper immediately after pressing? You could also be over pressing, a reduction in time/temperature may be needed.

      No, sublimation dyes the polyester fabric so there is no fading.

      Hello! With Sublimation, you cannot transfer to Black. The material will need to be white - what is preferred, or light in color.

      Hello! This size mat is meant for large format production. However, if you have a smaller press, you can do sections on your press, just make sure you do not overlap your image.

      Hello! You will be able to Sublimate onto any mousepad that has a 100% polyester fabric that is white, or very light colored.

      Bummer! You can also use a small format press and press in sections. We do not recommend solid colors. But patters and collages will work great!

    What happens if they want a black gaming mat but design has white?

      The item is white so there is not any ink in those areas where white is to show through. Black is created by the inks and white point is created by the actual white fabric/polyester that receives the ink.

      @@CoastalBusinessSup so i dabble in heat transfer but wanting a cheap sublimation set up to help a mat with gaming mats but he wants a black mat but his business logo has white

      The mat is designed to accept the ink therefore you will have ink to turn the white mat black and where there is no ink it will remain the white of the original blank.

    Can you share what kind of underlayment you used for this application? Was it a nomex felt pad?

      Hello, S R! We used the Hix foam pad on the bottom platen, next we covered with a few layers of Kraft paper, then placed the mat next, with our Sublimation transfer on top.

      You can do this with any heat press. Just need to do sections
