He's been asked about the bass drops - does he get tired of them, why does he keep doing them? His response was "I know my audience". His wife Kathy has said that if she wants to know where he is in the house, she just have to wait a few minutes. He sings around the house all the time. Can't wait for you to check out his new one, a Marty Robbins cover.
Good way to locate a singer, either wait for them to sing or just throw out a prompt you know they'll finish. :D I hope to get to check his latest out very soon, and also Voiceplay's that they are dropping today. :)
I love his version of this - his high notes are so impressive too - I mean... he is a flavour (😋) of BASS - and yet his "tenor" range is also so beautiful! Thanks for checking this out 🌹🕊
This was I think the first one I saw from Geoff's channel. It's also the one where someone commented "When did Geoff become a Disney princess? LOL He's done it a few times since. Did you know that Geoff was born in Virginia? I can't remember if you've done his Unshaken. Bass for miles.
It's not really conducting but a technic to help hit the notes. Like for a high soprano hitting one of those high notes I was taught to picture pulling a string to get the correct pitch. Love Tigger's (the cat) little cameo, he's so cute 😻. Poor little cow/calf got scared. Perfect timing wanting more Geoff, he just released his new song Big Iron 😊
Some of Geoff's drops are just showing off. But with his voice, why not. People expect it. There are a few I'd prefer that he would have done differently, but I can also understand why he did them. This cover is very good and has the right feel to it. Love your reactions. Funny, cute and ... 👍♥🎶🎶♥👍
My ex-wife is deaf, and her particular type of deafness means she can hear lower tones better than higher ones. I’ve shared a number of videos (Home Free, Tim, VoicePlay, and Geoff) with her and our sons. She’s been a huge John Denver fan her whole life, and I think this song was the only one she commented on. She said, “Where’s all that bass coming from in that skinny dude?!”
@@ThalesMusicCorner, it varies. I met one woman who was a pianist. I don’t remember how she lost her hearing, but she lost the whole left half of the keyboard and could only hear higher notes. My college English teacher was planning a sabbatical to Europe several years before I met her, and woke up one morning totally, completely deaf in one ear. Her doctors couldn’t figure out what happened, and told her to go ahead with her sabbatical because there was only a million to one chance that it would happen in the other ear. She woke up one morning in France or Italy completely deaf, and never heard another sound. She learned ASL, and went back to teaching with an interpreter. She told us that during her adjustment, refusing to accept that she was deaf at first, she had gone to airports trying to hear the planes taking off directly overhead, but couldn’t hear anything.
@@ThalesMusicCorner, I can’t find it on RUclips, but in my ASL class in the early ‘80s, we watched a video where she talked about the experience. I’m pretty sure it was ABC News or one of their programs like Nightline or 20/20. Her name was Sheila Wanner.
Well then. If you want more Geoff, he did just drop a brand new one yesterday - Big Iron.

You're very welcome. He is such a great singer with a wonderful voice. I really love all the stuff he does
And thank you for the giggles. 🌞♥🥰♥🌞

Yes, Unshaken is really great. I still can't remember it from the game, but his version is gold :)
I'm really glad I checked this one out

It really was great timing, and I'll have to check that one out very soon as well.

Yeah, it’s really incredible that he can produce this sound.
I’ve heard from others that are deaf as well that bass heavy music works for them. ❤️

Wow. I don’t know how I’d cope with losing my hearing. Shows her resolve to just learn and move on. ❤️❤️

Huldra Draco has a great video of why Geoff moves his hands so much when he sings. Will make you laugh 😂. He's Italian just saying 😂.
I'll have to check that out as well
I try to make sure I only check the content she has that doesn't cover things I've not seen yet. :D
