    Hello Heather, I would like to say thank you. I have been eating healthier for 2 weeks: No meats, fake sugars, and other unhealthy foods. I can see a difference and with the help of the lord, I want to keep this going. We have to better stewards of our bodies

    I was whole foods ethical vegan for almost 2 years. I experienced a lot of problems with the plant based diet:
    Extremely bloated all the time( where I thought I was just fat), lots of tiny pimples and I never had pimples before even as a teen , vegan farts(farting all day long & every day), Constantly hungry(had to eat huge portions to try and feel full with volume but still felt starving after a meal.), biggest one for me is that I lost my period for 3 months when I changed to plant based then it came back but my cycles were 50 days apart & my period was super light & lasted one day.
    I realized that your body needs cholesterol & saturated fat for growth & hormone function. There are absorbable fat soluble vitamins only in animal foods. There is lectins, phytic acid, & oxalates in plants that impare your absorption of iron,calcium,magnesium, zinc, etc..
    Now I eat mostly grassfed beef, pastured chicken eggs, raw dairy, homemade sourdough bread & salmon. Oh and lots of grassfed butter & homemade lard.
    I feel so much better: no pimples, no vegan farts, no bloating(who new I had a pretty flat stomach all along), period is getting back to normal, & I can feel full for 7 hrs without needing to eat. I guess I'm the opposite of you, I feel energized when I eat meat!

      When you look at what people eat the most, it isn't meat or butter. Its vegetable oils, not well prepared grains, and sugar. So why would meat be what's making us sick. Just cut out the oils & replace with grassfed local butter. Cut out sugar and have some raw honey every once and a while. And soak and ferment your grains. And eat meat from animals that were raised on their correct diet. Raw dairy not pasturized. Grassfed not grain fed. Eggs from birds that were allowed to roam around and eat bugs and plants.
      I recommend the book," Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by Weston A. Price

      sounds like you were doing the vegan thing wrong. Look up Annette Larkins. She's been on a raw vegan diet for most of her life and she looks and feels amazing for her age.

    This video was soooo on time. I literally just started working out and being intentional about what I eat last week and was praying to God for help on learning about nutrition and different recipes (that are good) that I can eat so I’m gonna check on your recipes.     Right on time! today was the first day of me being intentional about my eating habits; I went to the gym and ate mostly plant based meals today! We must take care of our temples and I'm happy this was confirmation. God bless you Heather :)

    I used to be vegan but im a small person..small chest, arms, just petite body in general and on top of that im tall. And i was losing too much weight and feeling weak all the time. I kinda looked sick after a while. My metabolism is just too fast and my digestion doesn't work for it. I think i was vegan for about a year. But i definitely can and need to be a lot more active and eat healthier again, without being vegan.

      Girl same here!! I’m almost 32 and I went a week without meat and my weight dropped quick! I try not to eat fried stuff, a lot of junk etc. i don’t really drink...I drink a lot of water and just try to eat more fruits and veggies...smoothies help you get more veggies etc too

      @Maya Day I agree, we must pray over everything. I love Heather Lindsey because she's a great teacher of God and I have learned from her. No disrespect to her at all and I honour her but we must search the scriptures and know what God is saying for ourselves. I totally agree with healthy eating but what is our Lord saying about all foods. Everything the Lord created was good. We learned that earlier on in Genesis 1:31 KJV. In the beginning He gave us green herb for meat (Genesis 1:30 KJV) until after the flood, which washed away much of the virture of the earth and so rendered it's fruits pleasing and less nourishing. Therefore God now enlarged the grant and allowed man to eat flesh. Genesis 9:3 KJV and (Matthew Herny commentary)
      Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.     I got a wake up call when my doctor told me I had pre diabetes and high cholesterol in December. I’ve lost 50 pounds since and my blood sugars are normal and my cholesterol lowered a bit

    Another person who needed this video at the perfect time! I’ve been having on and off abdominal pain for a good 5-6 days...and at first I thought it was the stomach bug, then maybe tapeworm, then I googled things and long story short, pretty sure I need to change my diet.
    I’ve had ZERO discipline with food I eat the past 6 months lol. Plus my husband and I have had fertility issues...I’m thin and fit-ish, but my energy is GONE and this video just confirms how important it is to have your priorities straight and honoring God even with what you put into your body! Amen!

    Thank you for this video and the scriptures for discipline. I meal prepped a lot of quinoa last night in my instantpot. My body does MUCH much better with cooked veggies.

    I went vegan for awhile until the Lord rebuked me. We were literally about to start prayer meeting when the Lord started speaking to me. You see I decided to go plant based because I thought it would be the solution to my hair loss. No, Jesus is the solution! The Lord started speaking to me about everything that the devil is involved in like clothes, makeup, jewelry, wigs, weaves, cars, even household products. There have been vegetables that have been contaminated and even plastic rice circulating grocery stores. Yet I was concerned about going plant base to change my life when all I needed was to involve God in every decision I make. We can’t trust anyone with anything we purchase. Use wisdom in the things you use and eat everyday y’all and pray over them. I even received a revelation about Wholefoods but I’ll keep it to myself for now. Eat what you feel led to eat sisters, but just involve God for guidance and pray over everything you use. Take Him to the grocery store and ask Him what you should buy. Blessings!

      Sorry but it sounds like the devil was speaking to you. I suppose "God" told you to start eating pork again too right? meat is unhealthy. It's fine if you have it once in a while to get your protein and all but overall it is not healthy for you and our digestive system isn't equipped to digest meat. The devil was speaking to you so that he can convince you to stop eating healthy. Maybe you should start asking God for discernment in helping you see whether the revelations you receive are from Him or from the devil . The enemy is a very deceiving and cunning creature who can easily pass off as Jesus.

    Such a timely video. I'm doing healthy eating one month now. Low carb,more protein and vitamins and my skin has improved, I no longer feel sickly and in pain. I love this topic. I can never give up on white meat though. Love this

      candace mckeithen hey one of my favorites is vegan lasagna it makes a ton and it’s easy!
      All the veggies you’d like (squash zucchini mushroom bell peppers olives onion egg plant - whatever you want) sautéed in a pan with vegan butter
      Make a cheese sauce using chick pea flour water and nutritional yeast
      Later in a pan using no bake lasagna noodles
      So good!! My toddlers asks for seconds 👌🏾👌🏾

    I am so thankful my friend Tina sent my your video “Sick of waiting in God”. I have since been watching your other videos. This one was great. I am leading towards plant based/ or fish only meat. But your messages are just what I needed at this season in my life. You recently posted a TB of 2007 July 4th sister circle. I have been praying on this since I watch a sister circle message on Crystal Evans page. I am a singe mom, 40 and gettin our of a 18 year relationship with soul ties. I want to find a group of women who can relate, encourage me and help me in my relationship with the Lord and that I will do the same for them. My home church is very small and not many younger adults my age. I also attend The Rock. So hoping I will find a group there. I would love to come to one of your conferences. Looking forward to 2020 dates.

    This video could not come at a better time. I just started the green smoothie cleanse and felt discouraged because I messed up and had a plate of bbq for the 4th of July holiday. I was doing so good and half way through I just really wanted some food like everyone else. What I noticed is how terrible I felt after eating it and how hard it felt on my stomach while trying to digest. Thank you Heather for always obeying the Holy Spirit I know I was meant to see this video and it was to encourage me to keep going on my healthy lifestyle journey.     Heather, this is so on time! I have made this decision two days ago. I started w cashew/ almond milk and cooking more often; however, meat is been so tiring lately... I have found myself throwing it away because my body does not crave it. My children eat meat but I'm starting to feel as if it just no longer appealing to me. I used to mostly eat turkey n fish while I practiced New Age and after going on a rollercoaster I gained so much weight but I found God. Now I feel I have to restart the body as well. I have to learn how to listen to my body and go back to the gym and re-do all my body to be better for God. I still have my plant base proteins and I'm a lake lover but I have to do this. I accept the challenge n thank youuuu so much for this.

    This video was for me. As I approach 30, I'm starting to become more health conscious because I now can FEEL those changes that come when you get older. I also want to break the habit of convenient eating. My flesh be wanting quick and unhealthy stuff! I have to become a better meal planner and chose healthier options.#LordHelp

    Wow this is crazy you did this video. My mother died last year from weight related conditions. She struggled most of her adult life with it. She started the vegan lifestyle before she died but it was a little too late. She always told me she didn’t want me to get the way she was but I have literally packed on so much weight since she passed and I feel the weight gain everyday in the form of pain throughout my body. Lately Hod has been placing on my heart to let go of meat because there are sometimes I would get physically sick after eating meat but then there would be sometimes I crave. I have been seeing so many things on Instagram on the vegan lifestyle. I realized overeating is a spiritual battle. I don’t want to continue this cycle that has plagued my family. This video will encourage me to at least take the leap of faith and try. Hopefully my mom will proud that I overcame over eating and a unhealthy life style

    Awesome video! 🙌👏 I'm also whole food gluten free plant based! 🌱 As long as I put the work into meal prepping, juices, keeping it whole food, mixing raw with cooked, taking my supplements, and making sure I'm balancing proteins, fats, carbs, and fiber foods it's the healthiest lifestyle possible! ( For anyone who is starting out plant based, Vegans need extra B12, Iron, K2, and D3 if not in the sun enough to absorb it naturally. There are vegan options of K2 & D3 as well. ) Heather you are awesome!💗GBU and your beautiful family!💗

    This is totally right on time !! I just had a baby 2 weeks ago and chose to breastfeed him. This will help me to not only keep up my milk supply but to keep me healthy as well. This body is a temple and I will treat it as such !!

    Hi Heather!!! Did you list what vitamins you take? I am curious to know what supplements...I've been directed to eat a table spoon of flaxseed or chia seeds everyday and to take a B12 vitamin daily on a vegan diet. I'm currently participating in a healthy eating study for African Americans in South Carolina, I'm in the vegan group. It has definitely been interesting. Thanks for doing this video cause I have been struggling with committing.

    After months of crazy eating habit, munching on all those pork chops, instant noodles, beef shabu-shabu and brown sugar milk boba, I feel SO BAD I feel like I might get cancer. This video came right on time, I feel really convicted. Thank you LORD & Heather for being God's messenger!

    Its important for everyone to listen to what your body is telling you. Being vegan is not for everyone. Eating healthy is the most important thing to take from this video not particularly becoming vegan. There are plenty of people that eat meat that are healthy.

    Chopped kale cooked with onions, and a couple of apple slices broiled on low-med heat is so yummy! Pre season water to taste. Less salt may taste better ;-) After eating it, I feel the life of the plant transfer into me.

    I have been following low carb kind of keto but i eat too many vegetables sometimes for ketosis. I eat lots of meat and veggies and im slowly but surely losing the weight from kids, ect. I feel great on low carb and not eating starches. I felt addicted to starches!

    I have personally felt convicted about my health and I’ve struggled with weight my whole life. I tried vegetarian for 4 years and gained weight bc I wasn’t eating the right things 😩. I started back eating meat and lost 110 pounds (meat is filling) 😬...but l, I didn’t feel my best.
    I am currently on on day 6 of a refined sugar detox and no meat. I feel super energized! It’s crazy how much better I feel after such a short period.
    I also recently watched “what the health” and I have decided to pursue a plant based diet. Plus I feel a personal conviction. I feel the best when I eat mostly non processed and no refined sugar. Also, the meat and prepared food industry nowadays is SCARY 😩.

    The exact same thing happened to me! God took away my desire to eat meat for a season and even showed a vision that confirmed me to go vegan for a season of a year and a half. Then He told me to eat meat again but for another season of understanding Jesus more. Going plant-based is one of the best things you can do for your immune system! I eat meat again now but I still believe it is one of the best eating lifestyles if you want to get healthy inside and out.
