This is played mainly during the holidays. A family member returning to the family home after being gone for some years, welcome with open arms from the family. It's a moving song for me, as I think about the holidays when I was a kid, and all the members of my family who have since passed. We celebrate each other, and that's what we need now. Yo celebrate each other, instead of hating each other.
Kenny is and will always be THE VOICE for me. All these concerts at the Grand Canyon and Red Rocks are astounding. I never connected with his movie soundtrack Era. I fell madly in love with his voice when he was part of Loggins and Messina, then his early work on albums like Celebrate Me Home. Try Angry Eyes live (Loggins and Messina), and there's an awesome live duet with Michael McDonald of What a Fool Believes at Red Rocks (I think). A couple of my favorites from his debut album are Daddy's Back, and Why Do People Lie. His voice is one versatile instrument for sure!
One of my favorite Kenny Loggins songs. If you want to hear a great Loggins and Messina song, listen to Angry Eyes. So many instruments in Angry Eyes. A truly remarkable song. I think you would both love it.
Kenny Loggins final tour is going on now... he is 75 years young! I am going to see him tomorrow night in concert for the first time, and last. I can't wait. I love that y'all do these older songs!!
Thanks you guys, you’re the first to react to this version - the only version. Please check out Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald live from the Redwoods ‘What a Fool Believes’.
I never heard that one. The sax is good though. The best sax solo in all of rock and roll history is by David Sanborn in Eric Clapton and Sheryl Crow's live cover of Little Wing.
This is one of my 2 favorite songs by Kenny Loggins. The other one is "Baby Mine". You should check it out. It helped me so much after my oldest boy was killed.
Another brilliant reaction in the bag. May I please make a request for the band Skunk Anansie and Weak or Hedonism? Loved this band in the nineties and saw them at reading festival in 95. Top rock / indie band. Cheers.
You owe to yourselves to listen to the studio version of this! It sounds much different and much more soulful. This version here is a little tamped down, more like an unplugged version than the studio.
I've always liked this song but not this long-drawn-out live version. It's just not my thing. My 2 favorites are Meet Me Halfway (theme song from my favorite movie of 1987 Over the Top and House at Pooh Corner/Return to Pooh Corner, but I like a handful or so of others from him as well. Then there's a few I like with him from Loggins & Messina as well.
I can recomend a pretty underrated song but also a very good song by Ozzy and the songs namn is ”Youre No different” with Jake e lee on guitar, I strongly recomend it!!
You're not doing live streams anymore and you just reacting to videos. You should react to Kenny loggins - HeartLight and Kenny Loggins and Steve Perry - Don't Fight It. 🔥🔥🔥
This is my favorite version of this song and the reason Kenny will always be one the best singers/vocalists I've ever heard live.

@@wolfpack8643 Not so fast there! Steve Perry is astounding but Kenny was my first love so I'm completely unbiased...
Lex is a true music lover she gets and appreciates music in general.

LONG VERSION!!!!
Love Kenny Loggins. I've seen him 6 times and he never fails to entertain. This is played a lot on Christmas radio programs.
Superb❤❤❤. The most unknown underrated Christmas song ever. I posted the video on my page last Christmas. This is top shelf!!!
Love Kenny, he’s the king of classic soundtrack songs and dad rock
Simply the best! Love you Kenny! Long live the Loggins!
❤Kenny Loggins!! Absolutely fabulous 🎉❤️🎉Thanks for the memories! 😊
The studio version is the best for just listening...That's what always came on the radio around Christmas time..
Kenny Loggins final tour is going on now... he is 75 years young! I am going to see him tomorrow night in concert for the first time, and last. I can't wait. I love that y'all do these older songs!!
This tune is always about Christmas for me...
There’s nothing quite like talent.
This is one of my favorite albums….every song on “Celebrate me Home” is worth a reaction…esp “You Don’t Know Me”
Got to see him in 2019. Still sounds great.
Thanks you guys, you’re the first to react to this version - the only version. Please check out Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald live from the Redwoods ‘What a Fool Believes’.
Love the whole "Celebrate Me Home" album, every song on it is gold.♥
He used to close all of his shows with this song. Biggest audience participation I’d ever seen until I saw Prince!
I never heard that one. The sax is good though. The best sax solo in all of rock and roll history is by David Sanborn in Eric Clapton and Sheryl Crow's live cover of Little Wing.
You guys should check out the studio version sometime, I kind of prefer it.
me too
Yeah, don't know why they reacted to this version.
A sentimental favorite, thanks y'all. "Be Free" is also one to know.
Kenny's takin ups to church!
I’ve always liked Kenny Loggins but never knew he was so strong live!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve always thought of this as a Christmas song about families coming together.
What a freaking talent! Love this song but my favorite is "Forever". You will love it.
This is one of my 2 favorite songs by Kenny Loggins. The other one is "Baby Mine". You should check it out. It helped me so much after my oldest boy was killed.

This song is on our Christmas song playlist- not sure if it is or not but makes a good Christmas song. lol
One of My absolutely favorite songs!! Next try - This is It
"Chris Cornell's cousin, who lives in the high country". Leave it to Lex to make me laugh out loud. But she does have a point...
First line of the song. Home For the Holidays!!!
Jennifer Nettles did a great cover on this song. Great song for the Holidays!
Watch the whole concert if you want to see the beauty of the canyon. The concert starts in daylight and goes into night.
Perfect Christmas song

If you haven’t done so already, you should react to The Real Thing. Kenny also sings it and it’s absolutely amazing.
Now try "House At Pooh Corner". Nice childhood song.
Yes, especially with the new baby 💕
Brad & Lex, you are overdue for "Your Mama Don't Dance" by Loggins & Messina!! Not your Mama Lex 😀
I agree but you can't skip Angry Eyes by Loggins and Messina I consider it to be their masterpiece!
It starts with “home for the holidays…” 😂
It's a totally different vibe but you should check out Loggins and Messina Angry Eyes. It is their masterpiece
Lex, your incredible beauty just cracked my tablet screen but II forgive you, don't even know why.
great song1
Love y'all

I love Kenny's music.
There's another version of this song that is equally as good. It has more of a gospel vibe.
