    great reply on the oil mix topic Kyle. few realize that adding more oil makes it run leaner, which is a bigger issue in cold weather.
    but we should note that it's bad to mix mineral oils thinner than 50 to 1. they are not as capable as full synthetic oils, which can go as thin as 100 to 1. so just watch out for that guys.

    100% agree on the break in topic. i worked for a big name diesel equipment manufacture and we were not allowed to even idle a new engine on the dyno. soon as it had oil pressure we went to 20% load while we looked for leaks. it was expected we would be at 50% load within 2 min of start up. if not, there is risk of polishing the cyl bores and loosing a proper break-in of the rings to cylinder.
    the rings move across the length of the cyl twice per revolution, so 2 min at 1500 RPM means 6000 times the cyl cross hatch is being polished by the rings due to low ring expansion pressure from a low power setting. combustion gasses are designed to get behind the rings and force them into the cyl bore for proper sealing force and break-in. most of our 1 hour dyno run was at 80% load. so in short, the best thing for a new engine is to get it hot and work it hard. add oil in the gas if you want but it's likely not needed.
    the only exception to all this may be that some modern four strokes need to loosen up before being worked too hard, so follow OEM guidelines. but in general, and for sure with 2 strokes, there is more chance of inducing a problem by going too easy on a rebuilt engine during break in, vs running it under high loads.

    Hey Kyle, how come you never did a review for the Beta 250? I would love to hear your thoughts compared to the Ktm 250.

    Kyle, I remember when you first started your channel... You came a long way. I used to give you shit about being a Noob! LOL. I know you don't like it, but I still prefer a 4-stroke. I don't enjoy riding slow, and love GNCC style trails, so the KTM 350 has been my go-to bike, despite owning and trying many others. I found years ago that I could not get the power that I needed to do everything I wanted to do with a 250xcf. That said, I think I am probably a tiny bit faster on a 250xcf. On some courses, Kailub Russell was also faster on his 250xcf than his 350xcf. Incidentally, the Kailub Russell edition is the best looking bike that I have ever seen. I also think the 350 lets me be a little bit lazy when I don't feel like shifting LOL!!.

    Kyle, your thoughts on the 2025 KTM 2 strokes ? You’re still not gonna like the new 2025 Husky’s. All white with the ugly dark blue frame but will have Brembo components 👍

    Ya know you really shouldn't be giving advice on something you know next to nothing about, such as the Rekluse Auto Clutch, when you've ridden somebody's bike with an auto clutch one or maybe 2 times and decided you didn't like it so you say you can't double blip or do other things with it is total BS, until you have spent significant time on your own bike with a properly set up auto clutch you have no idea what your talking about, that's fine if you don't like it but if you have no genuine experience with it then leave it at that, I find traction on hill climbs or in mud that leave my ridding buddies absolutely baffled and it's because of my Rekluse clutch, it's like any other changes you make to your bike that you can actually feel, those changes require time for you to adapt to take full advantage of them, I've found that most people that say they don't like an auto clutch have almost no real time with one, I love mine as it's made riding for me better with no drawbacks but then I also have a good 4 years experience with one and I've raced and ridden for over 30 years.

      To each their own, but auto clutches are gay
