I really enjoy this style format of storytelling! Buy the book, stay for the stories! Good stuff Larry, thanks for sharing. Here is one: One of the times I did acid back in the early 90's was some really strong stuff. I clearly remember leaving reality all together. We were outside and the street lamps became these huge search lights. My 3 buddies that was with me were all having the very same trip as I was. We had escaped reality for about 3 hours while the street lights moved across the ground like huge search lights in a prison. I will never forget that! Very intense trip and changed my life. Anyone that has had a very powerful trip will know what I mean by it changed me as a person. I have never been the same since that trip.
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief After peaking hard for 3 hours, the after effects of walls breathing lasted for a good 26 hours. There are few words that can explain this experience. Totally getting the trip is about as close as we can get. As these things are sometimes feelings mixed with hallucinations. Yet I do not think some of what I saw wasn't there. It is there all the time, we just can't see it in a "sober" mind. This is why they have made such things illegal. They do not want you escaping from reality and seeing these small truths. I was even escorted back into my body by some being. I called it the WARP MASTER. My friends saw it too. We all had started talking after peaking, and we all experienced the same thing down to every detail. Most smaller trips within my groups of friends each person would have their own little trip and personal experience. This one was different as it was some really good stuff. Totally mind-boggling indeed! Thanks for the reply Larry! You remind me of the people I grew up with in the 80's. You're a good guy.
I found this channel by pure chance and 2 days later I have watched almost nothing else, and like the others, I'm completely smitten with Mr. Lawton's (appropriately fitting name btw) life stories and lessons learned. Hes got a great platform here to build off of, and being on the wrong end of the law once myself, this is valuable information for anyone, and also brilliant because it's so well organized, detailed, and perfectly delivered - without sounding like overly embellished juvinal bravado. I could cell with this man for a century and not get bored out of my skull, and the not ratting themes are big for me and hit home when I hear of a rock solid dude biting the bullet and giving them absolutely nothing. Loyalty is everything, and unfortunately is something that's hard to find these days. Nothing against the younger generation, but being in my 50s makes me strive hard to accept how much this world has changed.
Hello Sir first I want to say thank you for your service in the Coast Guard. I lived in south Florida to love your stories I've got a few myself thanks for your time.
i've been institutionalized, not as long as you, but your stories bring back so many feelings and memories, exciting feelings and tension that i felt when doing these kinds of stuff , i remember all the hustle and stashing of stuff, it was a good feeling, very exciting when you pulled off something big, i broke out 3 times. the first time i went over 2 barbed wire fences in flipflops with 2 feet of snow and the second time i closed a guard inside the "box" and took his keys, the third one was easy. good feelings (in the moment) but nothing beats freedom. thinking back on it, sure it was exciting but really it sucked ass.
I like the way your mind thinks. Glad you got out to tell the tale. I have a cousin who is in and out. Growing up...his home life...he never had a chance.
Thank you for informing the people of your story, I see this as a mini-documentary (even though it’ll be perfect for one) of real events of crime to real events in jail and you can see the emotion and the truths behind it. Sometimes it’s hard to find the truth. you come out and tell it like it is as if it’s nothing, which gave me the chills.
I only did max level state time but I totally agree that you can’t let even the littlest thing slide because the principal is what matters most and if you don’t handle yours and let ONE thing slide... the sharks smell that blood and they’ll be coming. Much respect. Glad to see you’re doing good. -T
I do and I am glad most of the people like my videos. I don't get some of the negative replies and hate messages. I guess some people just don't want someone else to do well.
Hey you and others who have been in the system bringing it to us here are really a force of change. Yes, it is entertaining, but you also share the truthful bad and why it needs to change. I'll never forget ya!

We had escaped reality for about 3 hours while the street lights moved across the ground like huge search lights in a prison. I will never forget that! Very intense trip and changed my life.
Anyone that has had a very powerful trip will know what I mean by it changed me as a person. I have never been the same since that trip.
I totally get that trip. I had a few of them. Totally mind-boggling.
@@OldieWan You had me smiling again. I agree with all of what you said. have a great evening.
Larry “never forget” Lawton!
TamTam521 original you come up with that all your self
Hello Sir first I want to say thank you for your service in the Coast Guard. I lived in south Florida to love your stories I've got a few myself thanks for your time.
Ive had bad trips in my room alone, i couldn't imagine in prison man. Thats insane
Props to you for not making your merch ridiculously expensive like all the other RUclipsrs !
would strongly recommend doing a podcast
This is better
I like this
nah these style vids are untouchable
Not all heroes wears cape, thank you for taking the time to share your story Larry, very interesting and wish you a good continuity in your career !
Thanks Larry. Love your content. I like what you said about believing in second chances.
He is a true idol, every time he explains things it keeps me listening until the end and makes me want to hear more
I just discovered this channel and it's claimed every free moment I've had in the last 3 days. This guy is fucking awesome.
i've been institutionalized, not as long as you, but your stories bring back so many feelings and memories, exciting feelings and tension that i felt when doing these kinds of stuff , i remember all the hustle and stashing of stuff, it was a good feeling, very exciting when you pulled off something big, i broke out 3 times. the first time i went over 2 barbed wire fences in flipflops with 2 feet of snow and the second time i closed a guard inside the "box" and took his keys, the third one was easy. good feelings (in the moment) but nothing beats freedom. thinking back on it, sure it was exciting but really it sucked ass.
I really enjoy hearing these. You're a good story teller
I like the way your mind thinks.
Glad you got out to tell the tale.
I have a cousin who is in and out. Growing up...his home life...he never had a chance.
You're really talented man, i hope you make it somewhere big!
Hey Larry love these videos such a inspirational guy your amazing love from Australia
I only did max level state time but I totally agree that you can’t let even the littlest thing slide because the principal is what matters most and if you don’t handle yours and let ONE thing slide... the sharks smell that blood and they’ll be coming. Much respect. Glad to see you’re doing good. -T
Loving these episodes, keep up the good work.
Thanks, I have a lot more videos coming. Some real good stuff.
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief Sounds Good.

Hey you and others who have been in the system bringing it to us here are really a force of change. Yes, it is entertaining, but you also share the truthful bad and why it needs to change. I'll never forget ya!
I make moonshine and learning how he made the jailhouse sill is genius!! I knew that explosion would happen. I'm going to have to try this but just one spark and.....well.
I can’t tell if you are saying this because of Red Dead Online or you actually make Moonshine.
@@erikallen3804 I make moonshine with a great corn mash double distilled to a nice smooth 175 proof after 6 months of aging. I've never tried the Jail House way. I have a buddy that's a smoker and he didn't have things sealed well with flour paste on the still. It started a nice fire after the initial boom.
@@10MinutestoRouletteFortune Ok thanks for clarification.
This is the best storytelling I’ve ever heard. Seriously when I see you upload I’m so excited. I stop what I’m doing, grab a beer and watch
I never noticed how many times you said “never forget” until I red these comments.
Criminal defense attorney here, former anyway, and wish more folks knew what goes on in prisons and how easy it is to land there. Thanks for your videos. Hang tough.
I Can’t imagine taking hits of acid in prison
It's pretty fun believe it or not. It's a nice escape from the bs you deal on a daily basis
I don’t mess with that stuff man
Sounds stressful
I would do it when its lights out
You need to make another "Ask me anything" it has 1.1 million views and that Video was the reason i even found this channel. so thats the stuff people really enjoy. Maybe make a thread somewhere where people ask questions and just pick out the ones you can answer :)
I am doing that now. It should come out within a week.
