I converted about 3 years ago. To be honest, Christians were the reason I didn't convert 10 years earlier. I always had a great love for Jesus and when I finally made the leap, I realised I was becoming Christian to follow Christ, not people. All people will disappoint, including Christians. Do not blame God for the inevitable shortcomings of sinful people.
Exactly. Model yourself after Jesus and the saints follow Christ’s teachings rather than focusing on the sinfulness of others.
This is so on the bullseye right here. People will let you down and hurt you as they spiral in their sinful fallen nature, but Jesus will never forsake you. He knows everyone is broken and came to fix us.

Hi there I've loads of respect for what that young man did...if we claim as christians that our faith is cemented in Christ...then we have the capacity to pray and draw those that have fallen to Jesus Christ.
I play in a rock band. I was not a Christian up until January of this year. I have worn getups like this, makeup, the whole thing. I, for the life of me, cannot tell you why I did it aside from wanting to “fit the style” of music. That is total nonsense to me now. This stuff puts spiritual and logical blinders on you. Worship of the self, worship of money and attention, worship of sex and admiration… it’s all flat. None of it makes sense anymore. Weird how Jesus can completely and utterly rattle your brain back into order and show you the foolishness of your ways.
Well done, brother. You're out of it now and that's all that matters. I used to be a goth too. I think we dressed like that because we looked for an identity. When you belong to Jesus, you realise that's your true identity. Being a child of God is the identiny we're all supposed to have, and once we find that, clothes and style etc don't matter any more.
The Gospel is always a sin and guilt issue. We often are so thrilled to see God working in us we inadvertently more from the judicial to quality of life.

I love seeing your videos but there has been a couple of times I have heard you and others guests in your show making funny of others, for example why does the clothes have to do with anything, God says come as you are, we should be worrying about saving his soul not his fashion. You think Jesus said those types of things when he was here on earth, Jesus loves us as we are. Focus about Jesus, not what people are wearing or body type, in another video your guest was talking about someone being overweight. People who aren't Christians or walked away listen to your remarks will definitely stay that way because they already call us hypocrites. I'm just saying, my thoughts.

People are much more receptive with one on one conversations. People want to talk about Jesus Christ but they fall into peer pressure when influenced by mob mentality.
I'm haunted by the way I thought about and spoke to other people during my adolescence. I didn't follow Jesus, I claimed his name as a way to feel superior to those outside my tribe.
Thankfully, Jesus is willing to save even from that.

Why is it so hard for Christians to share a good church? I'm in North Hollywood, CA, and I'm seeking a church. I've made this comment on several channels, including Bryces. Still never had anyone answer. So here's another shot.
Core Church in LA tho i dont know if near Hollywood. Pastor Steve Wilburn used to be at our church, Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, and hes amazing
Hey Mario! I'm from the riverside area in California so I'm not familiar with any churches in your area. But I go to harvest chrisitan fellowship in riverside and I know a few other churches in my area that are great congregations. If you haven't done this already I encourage you to pray for the lord to lead you to a church that preaches directly from the bible and preaches the true gospel found in the word. Also this channel and Living Waters are 2 channels that helps me grow in my walk with Christ so check that out too! They are good supplements in the meantime while you find your local church! And if you can't find any your invited to harvest in riverside man, I know it's a drive but you are welcomed!

I agree and know what you mean. I came to Christ because of my wife after hating Christians most of my life, she is like a Kat Von D and I'm a big old metalhead, and we are both covered in tattoos. She was barely becoming a Christian when I met her and I was deep into the occult and openly hostile and hateful yet she showed me more love and the light of Jesus than those deeply rooted since birth Christians.

I used to be a goth and I can tell you right now, there's no way that dreadful makeup took an hour. It took 15 minutes tops. "Wah! I got kicked out of churches for dressing like this!" What did he think was going to happen? It was also definitely what he wanted. He went in there lookong for attention and trouble. I hope a seed has been planted and he comes to Jesus who loves him and wants to save him. But I'm not going to walk around on eggshells and kiss people's butts when they're being prats.

If I look to a believer in Christ and I don’t come to Jesus because I don’t agree what this person is doing , then pick up a Bible, find out what Christ does and follow Him. I think an interview that you may find interesting. Is the interview Shaun Ryan does with John Burke episode 111. John has conducted hundreds of studies over a 35 year period where people have had near death experiences. Many of the people saw Christ or were rescued by him. It’s a 4hr interview but there’s also just a podcast version where you could just listen while doing other things.
The resurrection, placing faith in that and following his ways to see him move

I believe the most important debate within Christianity is not lordship salvation vs free grace, it’s not eternal torment vs conditional immortality vs universal restoration, it’s not is Jesus God or is he just a man or is he something inbetween, it’s not are we living in the end times or did that happen in the first century, it’s not about the rapture, these are all great debates and important. But the most important one is on the identity of satan. Is YHWH satan or is he God? Did Jesus oppose YHWH or are they on the same team? It was against Jewish law to say “the NAME” so _did Jesus sneak diss YHWH in his parables?_ THIS is the most important debate regarding Christianity. I believe this is the most important because Jesus stressed the importance of not blaspheming the Spirit. He actually said it’s not forgivable and it was his response to people confusing his Father with the devil.
Interesting question. Jesus didn’t use the tetragrammaton YHWH once, not that I’ve seen anyway.
Gotta dive into the Hebrew / Aramaic / Greek to answer this.

Ego eimi is the greek translation of YHWH and you can see it most on johns gospel for example john 8:58

That’s certainly a possibility but he could’ve also just been saying that before Abraham existed, _he_ existed. Anytime someone said “I am” in the Bible doesn’t necessarily mean they’re talking about God.

With a few exceptions in John, Jesus primarily verbalizes the words ‘ego eimi’ alongside predicate nominatives, meaning it was just a part of a normal sentence-not necessarily as a replacement for YHWH as a name. “I am the vine, I am the bread of life,” etc.

Well I think it's easy to understand, we are supposed to represent Christ on earth, we have been given the Holy Spirit and a new heart, redeemed and made spiritually alive, if someone seeking Christ comes across a Christian who is still enslaved by their flesh and ungodly then of course they won't want anything to do with Christianity, they don't know Jesus yet, they get on the path to finding Jesus through His body and if His body fails to represent Him well then it's completely understandable

Yes Jesus is the only fully God fully man to exist.
There is only one triune God, revealed in the persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And yes, Jesus is humanity's sole Savior, for no one comes to the Father if not through Him (John 14:6).
