one of those days where the camera finally captures the epic magic haha those gurnards were xtra aggressive on the bite. would b cool to see a huge swarm of them. i remember watching a video where an american was softbaiting from the shore and a swarm of sea robins were following the lure to the shore.
VG carrot cam. That reef is just right for getting off the beach plus a good source of mussels for bait.
Love your workmate 👍
4:20 (nice) beautiful gurnard! sad ya missed it
love your vids!!! from sunny South Africa 🇿🇦

Haven't quite found a big school yet, but I've had multiple doubles so far! Maybe we will see something like that in the future!
Great vid with awesome footage. Seem to be plenty of gurnard around. Cool to see a few gurnard bites on the camera👍
Nice work I had wondered when someone would do this, maybe I just haven't seen anyone , congrats for being a kiwi pioneer ✋️
Not to my knowledge on Gurnard specifically, more footage to come of different species too!
@Skwidyfishing. Good action by sea robins ....and Genards are good eating fish
Whats the orange stuff you put on your hook ??
Fishbites
we have a friend who's been catching so many snapper that he's been putting whole ones in the cray pots. Have you caught many snapper?
Seems a bit of a waste to put a whole snapper in a cray pot, why not let it go? I pick up the odd one but mostly out deeper in 40m +
What kind of fish bites that you used in this video?
From memory orange EZ Crab
