This world is so horrible, why did God create a world that would enable such daily suffering of innocents?… I’m so depressed & it’s hopeless
God created perfection. Human sin spoiled it and continues to daily. Our true hope is in the Lord Who never fails. Place your trust in Him... pray for His peace in your life..a peace that surpasses all understanding. You will be lifted from your depression.
I know how you can come to see this. Having been abused in kindergarten and getting into addiction in the late sixties as a kid, life was pretty bleak back then. It's a Bonified Miracle that I made it to 63, truly it is.
I found a video on Franciscan University Presents a Catholic Guide to Depression and it's a game changer. The panel of folks are like the fine ingredients that goes into a delicacy. Dr Scott Hahn and Crew cover many different topics and offer some excellent encouragement.

There is much wasted suffering in the world. Use your suffering united to Jesus for redemptivesuffering, to help save souls.
The battles are fierce, lambs among the wolves.
We become virtuous, holy, obedient, chastised and catechized through these battles.
We are rewarded in heaven
This world is passing away... don't get too attached to anything in this world... love fiercely as God does - our purpose is to glorify Him throughout our lives in this "valley of tears" , to trust Him no matter what even unto death, and to share the Word. Despite all the evil - there are still incredible miracles and beautiful wonderful things happening daily!! So many people are converting and reverting to the faith as the evil steps into the open. Love you sister-in-christ!
