  • Isaiah 61:1 says, "The spirit of the Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the gospel and to proclaim liberty to the captives (both physical and spiritual)."
In hopes of "proclaiming liberty to the captives," Sue Becker shares her thoughts on real food freedom. Many people have consistently expressed their belief that they need to be gluten-free, embracing this lifestyle wholeheartedly. Initially, they found some relief, which solidified their conclusion that this was the solution; however, as they continued this lifestyle, they began to develop sensitivities to other foods and soon found themselves needing to be not only gluten-free but also dairy-free, egg-free, and nut-free. Sue warrants that these dietary restrictions do not equate to food freedom; instead, they lead to food bondage and physical captivity.

Wow!! Thank you so, so, much, Sue! I can't even begin to describe how grateful I am to you for your work and information and for leading me to milling my own flour a few months ago. Poor me, I was erroneously gluten-free for years! And now I delight in eating REAL bread every single day with nothing but positive benefits! I love BreadBeckers so much, I don't shop anywhere else for my grain, even though the cost of shipping is crazy to California! 😆

So what is going on with the carnivore craze? It seems that soooo many are healing all kinds of ailments, losing tons of weight and becoming very fit on a carnivore diet. Some have thrived on it for years……I’d love to hear your perspective on this!

@@teresawhite791 I wonder the same thing - removing processed foods has to be a huge improvement whether you go vegan, carnivore etc.

I was a carnivore for two years and watched about 300 videos on it. It was awesome for my blood sugar as I discovered I was an undiagnosed prediabetic. I then discovered freshly milled bread about 10 days ago and dove in the next day! I was so excited because I adore Jesus and the fact that we couldn’t eat “the bread of life” didn’t make sense in my head. It made me sad that our society had so messed up our food supply that we could not eat bread… and I baked homemade artisan bread on a pizza stone for 10 years! I now eat meat/fish and the glorious freshly milled bread, thanks to Jesus and the revelation given to Sue Becker! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

Carnivores become sensitive and intolerant to several foods they weren’t intolerant before. They put themselves in a bondage difficult to come out.

You have made me a true disciple and my sister and I have been grinding our own wheat for about 7 months now. My other sister isn’t interested but her husband diabetes. When my FMF sister took them cinnamon pull apart bread for game night they were concerned about his blood sugar. But he checked before and after and his glucose actually went DOWN after eating the bread. Would it have had that immediate affect on him? Even with the cinnamon sugar on the bread? I need to make bread for them if so!!

Here you go again, Ms. Sue...ANOTHER prayer answered. I'm sitting here chuckling at how God is using you to guide me on this journey. I want to say thank you for speaking, because so many times, I fly right past the answer. Why? Because of the way you speak, I stop and listen. 😊😊

Have you done any research on alpha-gal syndrome? It comes from a tick bite and renders one allergic to all mammal meats and byproducts, and in many cases, dairy as well. Gluten don't bother me, but mammal meats and dairy does. But, I enjoyed your podcast. 👍

Hello. This is Tiffany, Producer of Sue's Healthy Minutes Podcast. I, myself, have Alpha Gal Syndrome. I acquired it in 2019, during a backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. As long as I stay away from mammal meat, I am 100% ok. I also abstain from any poultry as well, due to the fact that most of it is finished with meat-by products. Even if they are considered vegetarian fed, they can still legally feed them meat-by products during the end of their lifecycle and still consider them vegetarian-fed. Raising them yourself or finding poultry that is vegetarian-finished is the safest with Aplha Gal. Hope this helps.

@@BreadBeckers Tiffany, thank you so much! We are indeed a growing group. I am not quite as sensitive as some folks, but still am very vigilant. Thank you again for taking the time to reply.
