Iam a Rangers man, but I would have had Peter Grant in my team any day of the week. One of the most underrated Scottish footballer's of the modern era. He loves Celtic just as much as I love Rangers. That is why i can identify with him.

Well said, Raymond. Grant is a legend. He is what it means to represent Celtic. Whether, Celtic or Rangers, true fans recognize the greats for either club. Grant was in the mould of the likes of Billy Simpson for Rangers (RiP) Good players, not the very best, but represented all that was admirable of their respective clubs.

As an older fan who never grew up with the delights of Rebel Trebles, Peter Grant was one of the many players that represented us through some bad times. He was a limited player when compared to McStay or Collins in midfield but he had desire and heart.
Guys like him are Celtic, not Van Hooijdonk or Di Canio. They fucked off for the better deal while we struggled against Rangers.

A kicker, hatchet man - never a footballer. A thug on the park. Want me to point out all the games he lost us due to his thug attitude? OK he did help us win a couple of games (with real footballers to help him) but he lost us way more than he won.
