This hunt illustrates the reason most of my rifles wear a Leupold 2.5x to 8x scope. I've been hunting with friends who inadvertently had a high magnification scope cranked way up to max magnification and couldn't find the critter in time to shoot it. At 10x you did extraordinarily well at 25 yds. Excellent shot, Brother!

My scope stays on 6 i can shoot 0 to 100yrds no problem if i have time ill zoom in more but thats my go to magnification
I find that even 4x feels too high at closer ranges sometimes. I like 2-3x at the bottom end
I run a 5x25x56. Vortex. Just make sure of ur power settings and it's perfect
Nice 6 and knife. Core lokts had worked well for me over the years. "Deadliest mushroom in the woods".

God is good on giving us deer harvests. I was finally blessed right before dark today with a nice doe after 11 or so hunts with only seeing a doe fawn early in gun session. Finally got one for the freezer. Got it with my 6.5 Grendel AR out at Yanahli WMA. That will be a future cartridge deer video for you one day. Congratulations on the 6 pointer. Nice deer.

10 power at 20 yards is like looking through a drinking straw. Great job at finding him in there! I like the new camera work and music.
Just to add a little bit to the bullet selection, I would have figured at that close a range at high velocity, that 150 grain would have blown up inside without an exit. However, it was tuff enough to stay together and get an exit. Good job Remington Core Lock!

Congrats not a bad one at all . Between Shrade and Camillus knifes I have a hard time picking between them , so I buy both . That way I always have a spare . Lol . Have a few of each. My favorite blades .

Adam nice buck . The 3006; is a Sledge hammer . I shot a true eight pointer Mule Deer buck . I was using my 3006 pump . It dropped like a sack of potatoes . I was using 150 Sp Remington Core Lok.

To use a golf analogy, a lot of us have long range set ups but most of our shots are under 200 yards. It’s like practicing with a 3 iron all the time instead of the wedge and putter.

Yes I like the new forma😊t with different camera angles and music. Keep 😊working on it and having a play with new feature. As always love your videos, they are so clean and to the point 😊with not too much tech stuff. We would love you to come to New Zealsnd with us in the future for Red Deer, Chamois, Thar and Seka deer. We also get 😊 some time to do a little Brown trout fishing if time taken on deer is not too long. Usually over there for 4 to 6 weeks on average.
It’s so hard to self film AND not go back and re create things. I always wondered how people got all the B roll shots and all that plus the important ones. 😂😂😂 Much rather watched a raw footage hunting video like this. Nice job 👍🏻👊🏻

My ruger mark 2 stainless in 30-06 is topped by a Simmons 3-10 x44. It’s more than enough for the Michigan whitetail hunting I do. Most shots witchin 50 yards. You should do a tree stand setup! Looks like a really nice setup! Just looked up whoteewho tree stand found what I was looking for! Love your channel man! Has everything!

Excellent hunt! Doe I shot a couple weekends ago walked out at 20-21 yards, staring at me the whole time. Except I didn’t have a blind, just sitting on a log next to a tree. She didn’t go anywhere.
The go wild went wild, love my go wild 300 WinMag. Was going to get another go wild in 308 but since they have the new gen 2 out now I’m probably going to get a 308 in that
