He would have LOVED this prank, and I am sorry that he didn't get to see it, but glad that I did. Watching it made me think of him, and how he would have reacted. The pain is there always and sometimes i go there purposefully just to let it all out. But with time the pain does get easier to hold. It might not seem like it but it will get better. I promise. I speak from experience, I hit rock bottom and was ready to quit but through the right professional help I was able to get back on my feet an am better than ever. It felt like it was the end and „it will get better“ sounded laughable but it was the truth. When you hit the bottom there is only one way: up.

I appreciate the book recommendation, I’ve also been dealing with anxiety and depression. I have cut my walks down to about 3 miles per day from 8-10 and haven’t had rolling panic attacks for like 3 months. Still working on the depression, but anything that could help is worth giving an honest try.

Ross, you're certainly not the only one struggling sometimes. Many friends, and myself too, have been through depressed phases. And while being down sucks, the easiest thing - as you described - is, to literally get out there and do *anything*. I thoroughly enjoyed the "ross talk" bit :D Most of the times there are reasons for being lethargic, but almost always, the reasons don't prevent you from going on a walk, hiking or biking etc. And since most of us probably have less than 4000 Weeks left to live, better make the best out of each one!

The most impactful thing I learned is that anger is a secondary emotion. You never get angry from a situation, you either get sad, jealous, hurt, etc. and as a result of not dealing with those primary emotions, you just get angry instead.

Although you shouldn't assume your channel creates the business that keeps places moving. You provide a slight promotion which doesn't entice millions of people to just get up and want whatever you have. For example when you filmed at Crumble, I don't believe every vieiwer just got up and went to the nearest Crumble because of you, nor do I believe Crumbles business grew by any percentage because of the video lol. Not trying to be that guy and I know someone will say its a dick commment, but just as you like respect, provide that same respect to business owners who have non filming policies like Wal Mart or Target respect it at a small business just as you would at a large one. And while being down sucks, the easiest thing - as you described - is, to literally get out there and do *anything*. I thoroughly enjoyed the "ross talk" bit :D
Most of the times there are reasons for being lethargic, but almost always, the reasons don't prevent you from going on a walk, hiking or biking etc.
And since most of us probably have less than 4000 Weeks left to live, better make the best out of each one!
This prank with the dead body is my worst nightmare. As an architect I’ve been in a lot of creepy old basements/crawlspaces and I’m always worried I’m going to find a body or something. 😩 PS: the bit in the end really spoke to me and I appreciate it.

The most impactful thing I learned is that anger is a secondary emotion. You never get angry from a situation, you either get sad, jealous, hurt, etc. and as a result of not dealing with those primary emotions, you just get angry instead.

2:02 I wouldn't say it is a privilege to be on your channel, I'm all in agreeance for respecting someone enough to ask nicely to stop filming rather than go off on them. Although you shouldn't assume your channel creates the business that keeps places moving. You provide a slight promotion which doesn't entice millions of people to just get up and want whatever you have. For example when you filmed at Crumble, I don't believe every vieiwer just got up and went to the nearest Crumble because of you, nor do I believe Crumbles business grew by any percentage because of the video lol. Not trying to be that guy and I know someone will say its a dick commment, but just as you like respect, provide that same respect to business owners who have non filming policies like Wal Mart or Target respect it at a small business just as you would at a large one. Your channel does not provide privilege but does provide a nice laugh every now and then!
