I just bought one. It's not a political statement as some might (foolishly) think. I simply love the colours. That's all. As Georges Kern, the CEO of Breitling, said about this watch upon it's release in June 2024: "With the summer upon us, our colorful new SuperOcean models are your ultimate companions, whether you’re riding the waves or relaxing at a beachside dinner." And thst's what I will do whilst wearing it - taking sunset shots with the watch in the foreground while at dinner at the beach. Ah, to think of the additional color to be had with that... Also, I'm getting a strong 'Dark Side Of The Moon' album cover vibe with that dial. Even more reason to love it. 7:07 - that's the point!
Just picked one of these up this afternoon. Absolute stunner. Class, but with the look of a weekend watch. I like the rainbow. Genuinely couldn’t care less about the connotations. Will wear this proudly. It’s a banger. And it’s so well made. First breitling for me. Glad it’s this one.
I absolutely love that watch, The dial markers are stunning, I'm a big fan of Ball and the rainbow tritium they do on some models, but this is even better. It's the perfect blend of sports watch and class.
Let's think logically. Breitling is probably manufacturing these watches with the same or similar machines as everyone else with the same processes. The movements are known, reliable ETA movements that I don't believe they are even assembling. How would they be less reliable and have more warranty claims than anyone else? Maybe it's the clientele? Young youtube watching no research doing people? Location of the AD? Your AD possibly steering you to a more profitable, better selling brand? Chance? Sales associate not a Breitling fan or more of an Omega fan who are known to bash Breitling? Who knows. If you look it up there are horror stories for every brand and I wouldn't put too much merit on it.
@@zoomvidsjc1 We purchased Grand Seiko's. They've never had a warranty claim with GS. AD is in Chicago. We visited a mega AD in Denver who said they've never had a warranty claim for Casio G Shock and they sell a ton of those. Can't beat Japanese engineering and manufacturing. All in-house movements.
To The Author: I’m disappointed in you. This watch is Breitling’s attempt to satiate DEI agendas. This is not a timepiece; this is a political statement; exactly like Rolex’s (disastrous) Ref. 124300 Chronometer. Haven’t you seen what recently happened to Jaguar USA? That company pursued a similar strategy and now Jaguar’s struggling to stay afloat as all its resources are being utilized for damage control. Breitling’s decision to abandon the professional consumer (pilot, adventurer, racing sports, etc) in favor of this audience is frustrating. Please consider: -A diver’s watch where charming color coordination between indexes was prioritized above all other design specifics -Pastel strap options -A bezel whose numbers dangerously match the Chapter Ring (ask a diver or pilot why this is a terrible design.) -A “sleek” lower-profile bezel to make it impossible to manipulate the tool with cold or gloved hands -$5,000, you have to cut the strap with poultry shears to get it to fit Finally, considering the above, as a collector / investor, good luck selling this watch on the secondary market for 1/5th what you paid for it with a severely damaged strap Thanks for reading Sir and I’ll continue to stay a subscriber but please, do better. Breitling is venturing into a strange territory here. This might just be an experimental piece, but I am not so certain how many Breitling lovers will pick up on this at $5000 plus. Breitling's name always has been a traditional, strong and bit conservative name in watch industry, but with this? It has the vibe of the colorful Casioak G Shock lines. Again, I seriously doubt that Breitling guys (middle age and up) will be picking up this anytime soon. Thanks for showing this interesting pc to us, Rob. Have a good day.

The white minute track is a tad too fat. I would've preferred a larger dial + slim minute track than a small dial + fat minute track..
My thoughts too.

I think you were pretty spot on with the move the decimal idea!
I liked the way you presented this. Nice looking watch, too.
Nice watch but should come on a stainless steel bracelet
Waiting for this rainbow watch trend to end. 3…..2…..1……
Well they were designed to support health workers during the covid19 pandemic so guess if breitling wanted to stop, they would have done so by now
If it comes with rainbow strap too would be more fun(ny) haha
Nice piece!
Reminds me of the Ball Marvelight Chronometer Caring Edition.
My local AD told me they receive more Breitling warranty claims by far than any other luxury brands they offer. That scared me from the brand.
