Thank you for featuring this watch on your channel. As someone who has embarrassingly small wrists for a man - slightly less than 6 inches - most dive watches look cartoonishly large on my rather puny wrists.

Wow! I had the original 65. Loved it aesthetically. It was gorgeous. The dial finishing was incredible. But the lume was mediocre. The bezel was also aluminum and painted. Water resistance was 100m. It was more of a faux or skin diver. I knew they stepped up the depth rating but I didn't know until I watched this that the bezel was ceramic and it actually has real lume!! Wow. Hamilton needs to take notes from Oris and do the same with the khaki line.

Oris has become a kind of one trick pony and people wants to see something different and refreshing. By the way, Oris Aquis first came out on 2011. That was 13 years ago and they have been milking it until now. And honestly, the cow's tits had been dried up a few years back, ha ha. That is my opinion.

Yup 100% correct… a little bland currently. Love their super deep diver, if they could make that style with more mainstream dimensions.

@@scottrockett6382 I thinks that's really tricky price range. Maybe some nicer Seiko if you can swallow their poor accuracy promises (although many say that 8L Seiko's run really nice)? Personally I would look at nicer Christopher Wards at around 2k or Ball has some cool tritium watches with their own caliber. Or Sinn. I agree that Sellita is hard to swallow at this price but Oris can be easily found on sale so now one should pay retail for these. I thinks that calibre 400 Divers 65 would be good value proposition at 2,5ke.

I agree they needed to add an on the fly micro adjust. I’ve owned and flipped a lot of microbrands. They always all short for me, even with all those modern bells and whistles. But when you hold an Oris in your hands, it’s clear which one has better finishing. They also never go full retail even at ADs. The whole value for money stand point is a race to the bottom. Tudor won’t add a micro adjust to the bb58 either. Omega has absolutely atrocious divers. Longines also has terrible divers. These are the most complete divers that are made by a true heritage brand. I got one 15% off and I’m waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
