- Every spring quarter Stanford University has an event called Spring Faire; all the undergraduates are allowed to eat at each dining hall. My best friend, Vivian, and I attempt to eat at all the dining halls. Each dining hall specializes in its own cuisine!
As some of you may noticed, I reuploaded this video. I did the first video through imovie but then I downloaded final cut pro x...I knew I could do better and I wanted to bring full justice towards the beautiful dining hall food at Stanford. So enjoy my dumb edits! I actually deleted the first imovie video edit so I had to literally go back and find/trim/add subtitles to all the clips.

I thought you could eat at any dining hall?
Yes, you can eat at any dining hall! You get three meal swipes per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and you can choose to go to any dining hall with each swipe. You can't swipe at one dining hall however and then just hop over to another dining hall; you would have to use another meal swipe. On this day though, there was an event that allowed us to eat at all of the dining halls with just one meal swipe. So within the span of 3 hours (dinner time), we went to all the dining halls.

Why do they have sooo much Asian food like no shade but I don’t like Asian food so maybe this isn’t the school for me
omg hahahahahaha, no worries, there's plenty of other diff types of food at Stanford. The menu switches around often. If anything, I feel like there wasn't enough Asian food haha. A lot of Asians went off campus (like a 20 min drive) off to Cupertino or Mountainview for asian food hahahaha.
@Hannah Henris they do!! It was just on that particular day, the dining halls served a lot of asian food.

yes!!!! they also have indian food! I believe every Sunday dinner at the dining hall call FLOMO, they specialize in it :)!
Umm... how much is your quarterly few!?.... Also the food is only for Undergrad students or for Graduate and PHD students too?? 🧐
so the dining hall fee is included in the tuition. I believe on average Stanford students pay around 20k per quarter so with a grand total of 60k? I was considered as low income so I paid less each quarter but I still had to use loans every quarter as well. Came out of Stanford with a hefty debt to be paid as well haha. Stanford changed their dining hall policies during my year (2019). Grad students can only eat at Arillaga dining hall now (which is the last dining hall shown in the video). Hope this helps!

@@sundarkaddu5272 you can eat as much as you want :)) Just think buffet style! The only time limit you have is when the cafeteria closes hahahaha. I forgot what the dining hall times are but let's say for example the dining halls are open from 12pm to 1:30pm. You can eat as much as you want in that timeframe.
@@KelseySry last question promise, but can you take foods with you in your dorm room or parcel them if you are sick and dont want to eat at that time? 🤔 i am a very foody person, damn all my questions are related to foods. 🙈🙉🙊

Yeah! When I was at Stanford, they allowed you to take your food to your room. The only problem dining halls had with that is that some students never returned their dishes LOL. So I think every year Stanford loses a lot of money from never getting their dishes back.
I've brought a lot of food back to my room b/c I didn't have time to eat since I was so busy with classes. A lot of my science classes were at lunch time so I just left the food in my fridge.
