Despite his shield now being made of wet saran wrap, winning a 1v1 because of his shield is still a 10/10 method for ruining someones day.
yeah, given it's use it either breaks in one shot and it feels awful for the user, or it doesn't and feels awful for the other guy

Blackbeard was a beast and players were terrified of him like they would mag dump, shotguns, impact and c4s couldn’t beat him unless it’s behind him. The dude was really god tier level

This is why you don't nerf. Blackbeard's shield could only cover his face, leaving literally the rest of him vulnerable. That is a good way to get rid of the boring SMG headshot meta since you needed something to punch through that armor.
Any operator that failed to adapt could then have their niches buffed.

So this video made me wanna try r6 again (I'm on console) and almost every game I got into the enemy team was using mouse and keyboard and I could easily tell because they were leaning without aiming and I didn't have cross-platform on
They have that feature on console now. You can now lean without aiming on console.
